Aqua Spa Nuance (formerly Aqua Spa Lyne Giroux)

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. Black Mold was present on the shower floors, and I noticed black hairs on my hand when reaching for soap (I am blonde), suggesting poor hygiene in the showers and dispensers. Towels were scarce, creating unnecessary stress, and it was difficult to get prompt attention at the front desk due to service and IT-related issues. I had reserved the hydrotherapy circuit for private use (this private option was offered at the time of booking), yet other guests and staff continued to pass through the area, which did not meet the expectation of privacy. The infrared sauna was poorly maintained: the wooden slats were crooked, loose, and extremely squeaky, making it uncomfortable and impossible to lie flat. The massage felt routine and mechanical, with no intake discussion and no check-ins during the treatment. Noise from the hallways and lobby area was clearly audible from the treatment room. There appears to be no “please keep your voice down” protocol in place, which significantly affected the overall experience. Overall, the services provided did not reflect the level of quality expected. Repeatedly raising concerns with staff and management has led nowhere (I’m not talking about just this once). Feedback is met with defensiveness, subtle blame-shifting toward the client, and little indication of a desire to improve. At this point, my confidence in this establishment is exhausted.

It’s hit or miss for the massages, sometimes they’re great, sometimes it feels like an insecure new-grad straight out of massage school “trying” to do a good job. (Don’t know about their experience, but that’s how it feels). When it’s great it’s great, when it’s not, it’s not. I wish every time I went there for a massage, I would have the peace of mind that it will be competent and the therapist will be confident and therefore relaxed (not transmitting their tension to the customer…)… In other words, I wish there was consistency of quality. I don’t care about the price, I do care about knowing without a doubt that I will always have a relaxing and beneficial moment there. Not wondering and hoping I will. Besides, for presentation, it would be great to have more professional “out of order” signs on the lockers when needed, rather than hand written coloured post-its unevenly placed. This is a big name spa. I would personally want it to look more professional if I helped run it, but that’s just me.

I had an incredible 90-minute aromatherapy massage with Kumary, and it was truly one of the best massage experiences I have ever had. From the moment the session began, she created a calm, welcoming, and deeply relaxing atmosphere ☺️ Her touch was intuitive and intentional - she seemed to know exactly where my body was holding tension and worked through it with the perfect balance of pressure and care. The aromatherapy element elevated the entire experience. The oil enhanced both the physical and mental relaxation, leaving me feeling grounded, restored, and completely at ease. Kumary’s professionalism, presence, and genuine care really stood out - she never rushed and made the entire 90 minutes feel thoughtfully tailored to my needs. I left feeling lighter, restored & at peace. If you’re looking for a deeply therapeutic and nurturing massage, I can’t recommend Kumary highly enough. I will absolutely be booking again! 💖

Alaina is a magic worker!!! This was my third massage with her, and I can’t recommend her enough. She has such a friendly, bubbly personality and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is incredibly talented and attentive, and I’ve been seeing her for prenatal massages since my second trimester. Every time I leave, I feel so much better, with noticeably less pain and pressure. She truly knows what she’s doing and takes the time to focus on what your body needs. I will absolutely continue seeing her—she’s amazing.

I have been here many times for massage. The environment is very calming, clean and professional. Every masseuse has their own talents, however today I had the pleasure of working with Virginia! I mean just wow! It was a deep tissue massage with a hint of reflexology which she threw in there after identifying problem areas in my body. She was gentle yet thorough. I walked out of there feeling amazing. She even had a few tips for me to practice at home. Amazing experience! Thank you so much Virginia!!
