We had an absolutely amazing experience! We actually found this place by accident on Google Maps and decided to book a Nordic spa session — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Salt Spring Island trip. We had almost two hours of pure relaxation: the entire space was private, beautifully designed, clean, and thoughtfully curated. Everything we needed was provided — the sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, tea, water, showers, robes, and towels. You can feel how much care and attention went into creating this serene experience. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet easy to access by car. The host was incredibly welcoming and kind, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Salt Spring Island — whether you’re coming solo, as a couple, or with friends. It’s the perfect way to recharge, unwind, and connect with nature.

My partner and I had a wonderfully peaceful and deeply relaxing experience at Arbutus View Spa! The entire setup is so thoughtfully designed—moving from the sauna to the cold plunge and finishing in the hot tub, all nestled within a beautiful sanctuary of arbutus and fir trees. It truly felt like the perfect, health-giving Salt Spring Island experience. Every detail was attended to, from cozy spa robes to soothing herbal tea. We were welcomed so warmly by the lovely Shizuka that we immediately felt cared for and at ease. We both slept incredibly well that night, which says it all! A truly special place—thank you for creating and sharing Arbutus View Spa. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience at this little oasis in salt spring. Nestled right in the forest, my friend and I had the most relaxing and rejuvenating afternoon. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the spa itself was stunning like no other spa I’ve been to in the city. Sauna, hot tub and cold plunge were great. There was even cute decor and a mirror outside which reflected the landscape of the trees to add an extra luscious effect. We even had an entire suite to ourselves and had access to complimentary tea, lounge space and a brand new shower. A must see if you’re visiting salt spring! Great for girls weekends, romantic trip, solo spa, or birthday celebrations.

I visited Arbutus Spa over the Christmas break and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcome and genuinely taken care of. The atmosphere was incredibly calming, and the experience in the dark was especially relaxing and unique — it really allowed me to fully disconnect and unwind. Everything about the visit felt thoughtful and well curated, creating a peaceful environment that encourages rest and presence. I would highly recommend Arbutus Spa for couples looking to relax and reconnect, as well as for corporate or team events focused on wellness and reset. A truly memorable and restorative experience.

Today was my second time at this beautiful place and it was just as wonderful as the first! I did the Salish Circuit with a friend last June and just did the Winter Nordic with my boyfriend! It is such an amazing space surrounded by nature and super realistic pricing for the time you get, today’s rain was a perfect touch to the magic!
