was an excellent experience. There was a bit of a wait initially and we were close to giving up and trying elsewhere, but they called us back about 15 minutes later — well worth staying patient. The space is clean and well-maintained. I am genuinely particular about hygiene and this place met my standards without hesitation. Staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout. When there was a small issue with a meal, they flagged it themselves before we even noticed, which says a lot about their professionalism. The Turkish bath was absolutely incredible — easily the highlight. I would strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a full skin refresh, deep relaxation, or wanting to look and feel their best ahead of an event. Most of the patrons were lovely. Some areas had a fair amount of talking, occasionally on the louder side, but that didn’t bother us. It’s a social space, and while you can find quieter corners, complete silence shouldn’t be the expectation. The only real downside: the third shower stall in the women’s change room has very poor water pressure, and the temperature fluctuates dramatically from scalding to ice cold depending on overall use. It can also get quite busy in the saunas and change room during peak times, so planning ahead helps. Overall, a great experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

An absolute gem for both body and soul! This sauna is the perfect place to truly unwind and recharge. The facilities are spotless, beautifully designed, and create a calm, cozy atmosphere that instantly melts stress away. Every detail is thoughtfully done to make relaxation effortless. What makes this place truly special is the variety of experiences it offers — from the different sauna rooms, each with its own unique atmosphere and temperature, to the salt room that feels incredibly restorative for breathing and overall wellbeing. The Turkish hammam is a highlight: warm, steamy, and deeply relaxing, it feels like a mini escape to another world. The food is simply amazing — fresh, flavourful, and nourishing. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy both deep relaxation and such high-quality meals in one visit. Beyond the comfort and ambiance, the health benefits are undeniable. You leave feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely renewed. It’s not just a sauna experience — it’s a full wellness retreat. Highly recommended for anyone who values self-care, healing, and a moment of real peace.

Heard good things about this place so decided to visit with my parents. It has a lot of potential. Came on a Sunday evening and it was very crowded - perhaps understandably because it’s winter and there’s nothing else to do. Barely any room in the lockers to change or better yet bend over. The overall vibe isn’t very relaxing as everyone is speaking at full volume. The place also had a bit of an odour. I’d say they need to set some times and registrations to control frequency of visitors, put up some signs on which places require quiet, and maybe add some additional signs as to the temperature of the saunas or the rooms, water etc and what to expect in each. A family also came with 5 kids that were very loud and annoying. Perhaps kids should be coming at a different allocated time. Overall interesting and fun. Just felt a little too crowded.

Banya Richmond Hill is a very respectable place and it’s easy to understand why it’s so popular. The facility is well maintained, and offers a great traditional sauna experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and the overall concept is excellent. That said, weekends can get extremely busy. The place becomes quite packed, to the point where it can feel crowded and the experience starts to suffer a bit from the congestion. Instead of relaxing fully, you may feel like you're packed in a bit too tightly. If you want the best possible experience, I strongly recommend visiting mid-week. During quieter days you can actually enjoy the space, the saunas, and the atmosphere the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. Overall, a great spot.

Our experience at Banya Richmond Hill was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed to help you unwind. Anton was the highlight of our visit. He took exceptional care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we enjoyed every part of the experience. He checked in at the right moments, offered helpful recommendations, and made the entire visit feel elevated and personal. The facilities were spotless and beautifully maintained. The saunas were amazing, the pools were refreshing, and the overall environment made it easy to disconnect from the world and truly relax.
