Beauty Works Day & Medi Spa

I’ve been a client at Beauty Works since 2017. Other than a wee hiccup at the beginning, which was resolved promptly with grace and professionalism, I’ve been extremely satisfied with every service I’ve received. Each member of Beauty Works team—from the warm and welcoming women at the front desk (who set the tone for the spa) to every technician who has completed each of my services—is wonderful. I’d be remiss if I didn’t include Rhonda and her management team for creating an environment that allows me to enjoy each of my appointments to the fullest. I’ve recommended Beauty Works Day & MediSpa to friends and family and I’m happy to say they feel the same. I look forward to continuing my bookings and celebrating a major milestone for the Spa in 2027. In a world where businesses pop up like mushrooms after a rain only to disappear as quickly, 48 years and counting toward 50 years is something to be proud of but you don’t get there without hard work, dedicated staff, and a top drawer level of customer service.
I had a Brazilian done there for the first time. I usually go to my regular but they were busy. I came home to realize a lot of the inner hairs were missed completely, and a lot of wax residue was still stuck to my inner vagina I had to pull it all out myself and it hurt terribly. Generally when you get a Brazillian they wipe any residue off for you prior to leaving. It also hurt a lot more than any Brazillian I’ve ever had done. Her technique was almost like slowly ripping it rather then faster and it hurt a lot more then I have had at past other places. Not sure if it’s just me but it wasn’t as pleasant of experience as I’ve had elsewhere. The place was very clean and everything although I felt a lot of the employees were “too good” to talk to you or make conversation. I wasn’t even greeted with a hello when I came in just a “please have a seat over there”. Overall I rate them 3 stars out of 5.
My friend and I went to the Spa yesterday and each of us did a full day package which included aromatherapy massages, customized facials, manicures, and pedicures along with amenities including a eucalyptus steam room, infersauna, and massage chairs. It was certainly worth the money. My friend and I felt extremely relaxed and catered to. We had the lounge practically to ourselves and enjoyed a nice cup of tea in between treatments. After the massage and facial, we already felt incredibly relaxed and zen. They will analyze your skin and provide advice to up your game on your skincare. I had Courtney and she was lovely to be with all day and I really appreciated her hard work. They really do make you feel welcome. I live a couple hours away but when I visit my friend I will certainly be back for more services.
My step mom treated me to a couple's massage for my birthday here at Beauty Works. First of all, the entire place smells heavenly when you walk in. Whatever they have got going on in the air, I need it in a bottle. So relaxing! The front desk staff are very warm and happy. The establishment is clean and well decorated. The renovation that they did 6 years ago, has morphed this place into a real upscale experience. I had my massage with Jenna, who was so sweet! It was very relaxing. I didn't pass out from sheer relaxation, but I might have drooled? Don't judge me. Anyhoo I loved it, it was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!! *I meant to take more pictures but forgot!
I’ve been to Beauty Works for seven or eight facials since December 2024, and every single time, I’ve asked for Sydney—because she’s that good. She’s absolutely lovely—gentle, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares. I trust her completely when it comes to questions about my skin and skincare routine, and I always feel like she has my best interest at heart. If you’re looking for a new spa technician who gives honest, straightforward advice and takes incredible care of you, Sydney is your girl.
