Corduroy Brook Nature Trail

This walking trail is a beautiful thing for Grand Falls-Windsor to be proud of. During the summer the interpretation centre is open for visitors to learn about the wetlands and animals within it that this organization successfully conserve. Equipped with a seasonal coffee shop for you to sip and enjoy the nature of their beautiful deck overlooking the wetlands. -There's a playground just across the wetlands boardwalk! -The main dragonfly loop is well maintained and wheelchair accessible!♿️ -The trail conditions are monitored daily by staff to ensure walkability. -There are outhouses and gazebos to sit in the shade. -You'll find HIKING TRAILS as well as easy-walking trails within the trail system. You can circle 2 BIG ponds while hiking. -Plenty of benches and look-out spots along your calm walk. You can spend anywhere from 20 minutes - 2 hours walking these trails. Depending on if you're going for a hike or a stroll. The map and signage will always help you back in whatever time frame you desire. ⏰️

Absolutely stunning trails with tons of variety both in difficulty and scenery (including some wheelchair accessible trails and a wheelchair swing), with wild blueberries to eat just about the entire way through. Playgrounds and picnic tables/areas spread throughout, tons of information about the flora and fauna along the routes, gorgeous look-offs, and on our 3 hour hike we saw one piece of litter because there are boxed in garbages all over. At the trailhead they have multiple dog water bowls, free dog treats, dog bags, an adorable cafe and more information and displays. All for free. I can't speak highly enough about this trail hub.

I've gone here for years, you can really enjoy Grand Falls-Windsor through these. Some maintenance needed but overall it's a great experience, especially with the many displays of the Animal and Plants species on boards around the paths. Wide enough for peddle bike as well! Just take your time on those sharp corners. Some of the trail is rough though so just wear something appropriate for Rocky trails and you'll be fine! Lots of benches to rest on and look over the lake, it's very beautiful!

We visited here while in Grand Falls-Windsor. Such a beautiful spot. Spent the day walking about and listening to the wildlife. When we got back, the girl on reception, Hailey, gave us an impromptu tour of the wee exhibits and explained a bit more about the local wildlife! This was awesome & I learnt a lot more than I would have just looking about myself.

Great area with a variety of trails. Some trails easy to ride on a bike or good E-Scooter. Be cautious of others using the trails if you are using wheels to explore. Big playground for kids. Picnic areas, there is some outlets at the main building I have charged my scooter at.
