Dollard Civic Centre

One of the best Civil centers on west island of Montreal, although the city is independent from Montreal. There is library with kids section, and there also a bright hall for people to have place to study, you can rent blue ray, DVD 📀 also. There a hockey arena with 3 rinks, for public skating and organized hockey games with upstairs viewing stand. There a aquatic center with a standard 50 m pool and a 25 m small back pool(water is warmer for kids when swimming classes are offered). There is also a hall for party, ceremony etc, I think you have to pay to use 😉. Now with the covid, there is a vaccination site on gate #5 section, although it claims appointment only, but now seems a walk-in, stuff there are nice.
It has a swimming pool, gym, ice rinks, library all located in the same large building. I've only ever been there for either ringette, hockey or free skating though. The facilities are fine, enough parking for a large crowd although you may need to enter by an inconvenient entrance. Pretty clean. Maybe I'm biased by how inconsiderate and rude some people are that go there. Never had an issue with the staff, everyone is polite and bilingual.
This is the hub of all community activity in Dollord Des Ormeaux. It is best built and run civic center in West Island.Skating rinks, swimming pools, Exercise machines room, library and a cultural center are part of the architecture with all kind of sport activities clubs and day camps sharing the space. Amazing!
Alot to offer here. Newly renovated library, 3 indoor ice rinks and 2 pools (one Olympic size and one smaller heated pool). They're also working on a new restaurant with healthy options (should be open soon). On top of that, the employees and kind and patient. 😉 …
I and even my kids love this place, the newly redesigned library with all its books and audio and video is really nice. The swimming pool and the hockey rink are good too. One stop for all your city work and permit
