Fairmont Spa at Fairmont Empress

I have been lucky enough in my life to have been to many spas and in several countries. Today’s experience was top notch from start to finish. The reception desk staff were lovely and greeted me warmly. They provide a lovely atmosphere with ice tea and a warm compress. I was then given a quick tour of the lovely facilities and made my way to the change room. Big shout out for actually providing robes that fit men - trust me it’s rare. I waited in the lounge area for my aesthetician and again the facilities are gorgeous. I was taken up to the treatment room by Vanya where I was greeted by a dimly lit and awesome smelling room with calming music in the background. The bed itself is warm and perfectly positioned to make you as comfortable as possible. I had requested the Vitamin C facial with cooling eye treatment and a warm foot treatment as well. The facial was spectacular — one of the best I’ve ever had and I could see the benefits right away. The cooling eye treatment made the area around my eyes feel and look great. Tbh I didn’t notice much from the foot treatment- it seemed quick and yes it felt nice but I’d probably skip it next time. Request Vanya if you can she was great.

Had a great experience! We booked two 90 min sessions with Vanya, where we got a facial and a massage. She was great. We had a great, non-pushy/hard-sell conversation about skin care and she was very kind. Would definitely book with her again. We also enjoyed the amenities. There are private lockers, shower rooms with changing areas, and separate washrooms. In the women’s locker room there is a sauna and a steam room, too, which were both fantastic. From the spa you can access the hotel pool and hotel whirlpool through a private door. Overall, a great experience!

I had the pleasure of being treated to a brightening facial by Vanya. I recommend her highly. She explains what she's doing so you are prepared and has a lovely calm nature that creates a serene environment. Her touch when applying the treatments or massaging neck, shoulders, hands and feet is almost like choreography. No random moves, just a flowing rhythm with the perfect balance between firmness and gentleness. Everyone there was lovely. Thank you all.

Best spa experience ever! Went for a facial and it was magical. Leslie was amazing and took good care of me. I loved the adjustable bed they used and how soft the bedding was. All of the spa facilities and areas we used were very clean and tidy. I was impressed! The snacks, tea and water were all so tasty! Also really enjoyed the steam room and mineral pool. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at the Fairmont in Victoria! Came for my moms birthday and from the moment we stepped in we felt welcome. Eilish was at the front door and was very kind explaining everything for me as a first timer, and the two masseuses were lovely! I believe it was Sally and Cami! Was a wonderful experience all around and a great way to spend our birthday!
