Forillon National Park

One of the most beautiful parks I've seen in Quebec is a piece of paradise. It's a huge park, and each section offers a different activity. You can go kayaking, swim at Cap Aventure, or fish. There's also a historic area showing the traditional houses of the First Nations. The park offers various trails where you can hike or drive from one spot to another, stopping to explore along the way until you reach a dead end. At this must-see and must-visit place you have to do a moderated hike distance about 8.4 km round trip, positive elevation 287 m. you'll find Cap Gaspé where the Gaspè light house & the final tip of Quebec on the map. The view is breathtaking—you feel like you're at the edge of the world, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I give this place a ten out of ten. I loved Gaspé because of this park.

Saw some humpback whales in the distance from the point with the lighthouse. Too far to see much without binoculars or a telephoto lens other than their water spouts. Trails in the park are fairly standard with no wow factor except for the ones woth views of the coast. Fogged in when I went to cap-bon-ami for the guided bird watching. The English guide was quite good explaining the various birds they have in the park. Didn't try any of the food at the rec center but the laundry room is open 24hrs there and at the visitor center. Visitor center exhibits were standard perhaps a but better than some other parks. The video was top notch though showcasing the park and wildlife.

Love this Park, visited it during winter. It has a long walking trail to the chalet close to the water. The chalet was open, we were able to enter to warm up a bit. Having snowshoes would help a lot because the snow was deep in some areas along the trail. Good to dress in layers too. Would love to go back and see it during the summer. Did some amazing hiking this summer at Forillon Park 2018,it is so beautiful, from hiking to Land's End to Mount Alban. Loved it! So beautiful and a huge park to explore.

LOVEEEEE THIS PARK！ If you have a short time and you don’t mind climb a bit，highly recommend the north sector. CAP BON AMI and Mont Saint-Alban both have incredible mountain and ocean view. The hike to Mont Saint-Alban is challenge. For the south sector，I am a bit disapppointed for the Cap-Gaspé Lighthouse but Bout du Monde worth a walk. Dont try to do both trail at the same day，your legs will punish you the next day 😂.

Our family visited this park on Jul 4 and did a hike to cap-Gaspé trail. It is an 8km hike with elevation. It's absolutely worth the effort! Mesmerizing views of water, mountains, and trees. Picture can not depict the actual beauty of the view. In the end, when we reached Le bout du monde (Light tower), we were able to see whale in the middle of Ocean and seals at the shore. That was quite a view!
