I am disappointed and very disgusted with a review that was given to this magical place. I truly believe that if one doesn't get their own way, on certain things, they complain, and then take the actual time to write a bad review! I have been to Hidden Trails many times and you couldn't find a more amazing and accommodating couple; Karen and Rob, (the owners). The least threatening people I've had the pleasure of knowing. They treat everyone with kindness and respect. You just want to go back year after year. With any business (lodgings), you need to follow certain rules, same as everyone else, and those rules are quite simple "respecting others", so if you can't do that, and respect that business, just don't go. This is a place of beauty! The cabins are kept spotless, and I would go back every year. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a great holiday, to stay at Hidden Trails and enjoy the beauty of the lake, surroundings and great hosts! 🙂

Amazing place, amazing hosts! Rob and Karen have been very gracious kind, and welcoming to our family. Quiet, laid back atmosphere with a stunning lake to explore. We have enjoyed swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating and floating off the docks. Although I have not stayed in the cabins, the docks, boat house, fish shack and grounds are always clean and inviting. We enjoy nightly walks down to the docks to star gaze before heading to bed. The camp is quiet, well maintained and very peaceful. Quick 15 minute drive to Kenora for supplies and restaurants. The owners have been very helpful and knowledgeable. We feel very fortunate to have found such beautiful place to spend our summers!

My wife and I have been seasonal campers here for about 17 years and have enjoyed it immensely. Rob and Karen took over several years back and have made some awesome improvements. They are always willing to listen to campers suggestions and willing to explain why certain things have to be done. If you have a problem Rob or Karen will help if they can as will any of the other campers as this campground is like a family that takes care of each other. We would recommend this campground to anyone at anytime. We love it here and feel extremely blessed to be able to come and enjoy this beautiful part of the world!!

As a seasonal camper for 23 years at this resort I feel that some peoples opinions should be kept to themselves. This resort is set on a beautiful location for people who enjoy the lake life. Rob and Karen have been nothing but accommodating since their takeover. The improvements they have made have all been for the good of everyone who enjoys this location. To be able to move their business forward changes are being made, again all for the good. I guess one of the good changes was disgruntled guests left!

Hidden Trails Resort feels like you’ve been invited to stay at a family’s much-loved cabin. The cabins themselves are cozy and charming. We spent most of our days on the dock, playing in the water and reading. The sunrises and sunsets are incredible. The best part were the hosts. Rob and Karen were so incredibly kind and gracious. Their knowledge about the area is astounding. We rented a boat from them and Rob provided some great fishing tips. We very much look forward to visiting again.
