Hlgu Isgwit Hot Springs

Great little place with a short hike in the forest. The path was lined with a wood walkway. Made for easy hiking. A popular spot to be sure. Everyone we met was very friendly.There is a big pool that will fit around 20, a 6-8 person cedar tub and a 4-6 person cedar tub. The hot water was VERY hot, in order to cool the water, hoses from the nearby Creek are placed into the pools/tub. The big pool only had one which wasn't enough. The water was too hot. Im guessing 50c. The larger tub had an issue with the hot water supply, thus was to cold, the little tub was working properly but required 2 hoses (one from the the larger tub) These issue are easily rectified, and I'm sure it has already been looked into.

Great little place! Cost is reasonable. It is highly recommended to have reservations but I didn’t know and stopped in early morning in the Hot days Aug 2024 and they had room. I have visited quite a few BC hot springs and found the bigger non- tub hot pool spring to be quite warm but they do have a sulphur smell which is quite common. Staff were super friendly and accommodating . There are change rooms available and it is quite a nice little place. Only downfall When quiet you can hear traffic from the highway occasionally.

An excellent experience. Includes one larger pool and two smaller cedar tubs. Features a beautiful boardwalk walk-in to the site, as well as enclosed changing areas. Friendly staff. A low price too. Note there is a sulphur smell, which is typical of some authentic hot springs. Also note the parking is limited, and not well suited for large vehicles (RVs or trailers) though luckily we did manage to make it work with a 22' motorhome.

Higu Isgwit is a magical place to visit. After following a boardwalk through the forest it opens up to the natural hot spring pools. There are changing rooms available and after that, all there is to do is relax and enjoy the beauty of this spot. Reservation beforehand is required and in the summer, definitely try to make a reservation for as soon as they open.

Very nice hidden spot. I would have given 5 stars but the place does not have a washrooms/bathroom. There is an outhouse in the parking lot (by the road). There are a couple of changing rooms by the tubs. There was no sign of the approximate temperature of each tub/pool, so be careful. Make sure you book ahead.
