Holtz Spa

Holtz Spa is a great place if you’re looking to truly relax and unwind. The decor is beautiful, calming, and thoughtfully designed, which immediately sets the tone when you walk in. The location itself is large and spacious, the washrooms are clean, and the overall atmosphere feels peaceful. The massage therapists are excellent, professional, and skilled, and the couples massage experience is especially lovely and well done. The only downside is the front desk experience. While everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, the staff at reception can come across as slow, unwelcoming, and a bit rushed. I’ve noticed this on multiple visits with different staff members, so it feels more like a consistency issue rather than a one-off. A warmer and more attentive front desk experience would really elevate an otherwise great spa.
Spent the whole day at the spa, and overall, my first experience was great. The staff were very polite, constantly checking in to see if I needed anything. The massage therapist, hairstylist, nail technician, and esthetician were all lovely people—it was a pleasure interacting with them☺️ I was completely satisfied with everything except the manicure, specifically the polish application. I didn’t notice at first, but once I got home, I saw that the polish wasn’t applied very well. For the price, I think it would be better to offer gel polish instead, as regular polish chips quickly and doesn’t last. Overall, I had a positive experience, but the manicure was a bit disappointing.
The team at Holtz Spa is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. I want to give a special shoutout to Briana, whose care and attention to detail truly stood out. She is incredibly skilled, intuitive, and made me feel completely at ease. Her personalized approach and genuine kindness elevated the entire experience. If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond, Briana is the one to ask for! Holtz Spa is a gem in Ottawa, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for top-tier spa services.
I was gifted a spa day at Holtz a few years ago for my birthday and I have never returned. I felt like I was an inconvenience and they couldn't wait for me to leave, the only part that was enjoyable was the massage. They were supposed do my makeup as I was going out that night for my birthday and sadly I ended up redoing my makeup in the cab on my way to dinner, hence I have not been back, it ruined my birthday and sadly my spouse was extremely disappointed that I was not happy with his birthday gift. I absolutely do not recommend Holtz spa. I was expecting a day where I was spoiled and pampered only to get totally disappointed and angry.
Brittany did a great job on my massage. We went in for a couples massage and came out relaxed 😌. It was a bit busy when we first arrived but overall a nice place to get pampered. They had a great 'quiet' area where you could sit and relax. Some of the ladies provided good customer service while others not so much. I think this spa could definitely benefit with having all staff provide top notch service, especially if they want to be rated a 5 star spa experience. Overall experience was good.
