We recently purchased a custom sauna from Hot Barrel Saunas in Thunder Bay, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The craftsmanship is top-notch—solid cedar construction, clean lines, and thoughtful details like built-in benches and exterior hooks. It looks even better in person than in photos. From start to finish, Cory and Jaret were excellent to deal with—super responsive and quick to message back whenever I had questions. They made the whole process smooth and personal, which I really appreciated. One of the biggest surprises? Their pricing was incredibly competitive—better than most sauna companies across Canada, especially for the level of quality you're getting. It felt like a great investment without the typical markup you see from bigger names. The sauna heats up quickly, holds warmth well, and fits beautifully into our backyard. You can tell it’s built to last through Northern Ontario winters. We’ve already used it several times and the health benefits, relaxation, and overall vibe are unbeatable. 10 stars! We are totally over the moon with our new log cabin style sauna from Hot Barrels Sauna. Cory was so professional, prompt, and friendly during the entire consultation process, answering all my million questions, conveniently all online by email. His team came all the way out to Terrace for a speedy install too. We shopped around quite a bit on our sauna hunt, but Hot Barrels was definitely the right choice. Price was right, sauna and heater quality are very top notch, and it's always nice to support local. Cannot wait for years and years of enjoyment in our little backyard oasis.

Corey was incredibly prompt when responding to our many questions. After we received our sauna package I stopped asking questions because it came together so well even while we assembled it in -25 c Winnipeg temps. Their pricing was very competitive and delivery was exactly on time. I would strongly recommend that you at least contact Hot Barrel saunas for a quote.

Happy with the Finnished product! The guys at hot barrels were always willing to answer a question as I was building it. Did have an issue with damage with stove but they quick to get me a replacement. It was bad to build thinking they could have given a little better details in the instructions. Other than that it turned out awesome!

We had our sauna delivered and assembled at our Lake of the Woods area cottage in early July. We have since used it every night without fail. The construction is excellent and it looks great too. Most importantly the experience is fantastic. I would highly recommend Hot Barrel Saunas to anyone.
