Hot Springs Cove

The spring water is very hot, natural, and wonderful. Having the waterfall firmly beat down on sore tired shoulders; feels amazing. There are 2 change room/stalls in a wooden shelter just above the hot springs pools. There are no other amenities here so come prepared. The bathrooms are at the dock - they smell HORRIBLE so again, go prepped with toilet paper/face mask so you don't pass out. The boardwalk walk is lovely but the tour timing was too rushed. I would have liked to walk about 2-3x slower, just to enjoy the walk more. But we didn't have the time to spare. We only had just over 2 hours to be there from when we got off the boat and with a 30 min walk each way we only had 1 hour to enjoy the water - not counting time to change. Also the water is so hot you do need to get up and out to cool down and drink water as to not get dehydrated. I would not do this again mostly because I felt too rushed to get in and out on time. It did not turn out to be the pleasant/relaxing trip we thought it would be. If you can make other arrangements to actually sit and relax for a whole afternoon/evening with a water taxi or plane -- then I'd definitely recommend do that.

We took a seaplane to the cove which in itself was amazing and took around half an hour from Tofino, others take a boat to get here. The boardwalk was beautiful. It took us around 30 minutes with a toddler to get there. Once we're there, there was an area where we placed our things and dipped in. The place wasn't crowded since we went off-season, I can only imagine how things might get in the summer. We took our time in the hot springs. The space is quite small and the rocks slippery make sure you wear watershoes with a grip on them, since people were losing their flip-flops while climbing the rocks. There are 2 changing rooms in the shed area. Make sure you pack food and water before getting here.

Nice walk to the springs but super slippery on the rocks even with water shoes. Lots of stairs so people with mobility issues may have a tough time. I have a knee issue but I could get there it just took a little longer. The path is totally wooden. We went when it was dry so the boardwalk was great. Lots of nice scenery along the way. The hot springs are beautiful but the rocks super slippery. I didn’t go into it too far because I didn’t want to break a leg trying to get out or have to shove my butt into everyone’s face trying to crawl out. I loved my time there and would recommend.

Nice forest boardwalk hike to the hot springs. The hot springs get very crowded as multiple tour groups are there at the same time. It's a very cool place and the hot water feels very nice but expect to be surrounded by a lot of people. The hot spring isn't that big and the pools are narrow so a lot of squeezing by people is necessary. Definitely bring water shoes because the rocks are sharp and also very slippery near the water.

Such a beautiful spot. Took an hour and a half boat ride from tofino. Saw gray whales, seals, sea otters. Trail is an easy boardwalk through lush forest. There is a bit of stairs along it however. There was a bit of rotation of people coming and going from the pools but it was ok and everyone seemed to find their happy spot to soak. Bring water shoes!
