La Ferme Maricole Purmer

It was my first time there, and I went with my partner and the kids. Wow, simply incredible! If you want to disconnect, this is the place! We rented the "Fromboise" yurt for the weekend—excellent price, $130 per person for the weekend, including transportation. If you enjoy a lobster meal, the owner offers it for a small fee. They even cook it for you! On the beach, you have free access to beach toys, kayaks, and paddleboards. Sandra is so kind and welcoming! This won't be the last time we go!
Thanks to our observation of the plains, river network, and vast vegetation of fields and dense forests across the entire map of North America via Google, it becomes clear to us that Earth is a giant planet that needs more research and discoveries. A little slice of paradise just a short zodiac ride from the port of Sept-Îles! A magnificent beach shared by three accommodations, an ideal snorkeling spot if you're not afraid of the cold – you'll see lobsters and crabs that are clearly undisturbed! The yurts are very well equipped; I think it's the perfect spot for a 2-3 day getaway with family or friends.
What a wonderful experience!! And what can I say about our guide Chantal, a gem! We enjoyed a tasting of seaweed prepared by the owner. A fascinating discovery. The site is sublime. Captain André, thank you for slowing down while crossing the wakes of the other boats. Three hours is not nearly enough to fully appreciate this magical place.
The staff were very friendly. However, there was only one-hour classroom presentation, followed by another hour of free time on the beach. Cannot see any activity on the ocean farm. It was not as expected, and in my opinion, a bit too pricy for one hour class and a boat ride. Will not recommend.
