We had an incredible experience staying at the Maytree! This beautiful and spacious dome is nested in the woods with utter privacy and a beautiful ocean view. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are generously stocked for everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The decor is tasteful, modern and relaxing. The views are amazing. Ashley and Ken, our hosts, went out of our way to make us feel welcomed upon arrival and the dome was spotless. We took an easy stroll down to the private beach and did not see another soul. The beach is gorgeous and has awesome sandbars and a very unique sand spit--fantastic for beachcombing. At the end of the day we relaxed in the hot tub, situated just outside on the deck, while the snow gently fell. We then wrapped up in the plush robes provided and went inside the cosy dome to enjoy the crackle of their wood burning fireplace. During our stay, we also took advantage of their “Culinary Package,” which was wonderful! We highly recommend this unique offering and opportunity to experience a private chef prepared four course dinner with take-away brunch at the Old General Catering house, as well as a chance to sample delicious beer and lunch the next day at Copper Bottom Brewery! We are already making plans to visit here again next winter and make this our annual PEI winter getaway destination. Thank you, Ashley and Ken, for such an incredible stay and unforgetable experience!! Tracy & Jerry Carr

We found Maytree by accident when searching for a pet friendly cottage next to the water for our furry daughter. Our 6 year old golden retriever was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma at the end of February. Knowing her days left with us were few we made a bucket list of her favourite things. The only thing she loves as much as tennis balls is swimming. The weekend at Maytree certainly gave her all the swimming she wanted, with the bonus of lounging in top notch accommodations with many belly rubs next to the wood stove. She even let her parents enjoy the hot tub and all the other thoughtful amenities. It was memorable spring weekend for everyone. Thanks Ashley and Ken for creating and sharing this unique retreat!

Had a beautiful stay here at the beginning of March 2024. The dome was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed: slippers, cozy robes, plenty of glassware, even records and a record player! We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and we walked the beach - very relaxing. It was unseasonably warm and rainy during our stay and the road leading to the dome was very muddy. We drive an SUV so it was no trouble but I would’ve worried about getting stuck in a smaller vehicle. Hosts reached out to us ahead of time to make us aware of this. If you’re looking for a private, peaceful getaway this place in an excellent choice!

We stayed there for 1 night and it was so lovely! The location secluded and quiet, we even saw an eagles nest by the water. The jacuzzi was so relaxing when we took a dip in it at night. There's alot of nice thick blankets provided since it was cold. We even asked if we could have a later check in as we wanted to grab some food in montegue but stores were lnt open until noon, which was no problem for them. They also had awesome games to keep us occupied. We really enjoyed our experience there and hope to come back in the early summer to try out the bikes and the beach! Thanks for the great experience

Amazing stay. A unique place, very quiet and private. The views and vibe 10/10. Owners take good care of the property. Will be back.
