Nature's Salt Cave

I am extremely disappointed with how Nature’s Salt Cave handled a straightforward customer issue. I purchased a $100 gift card that was never used. When it was later misplaced, both my mother and I reached out multiple times and received no response for an extended period. When communication finally occurred, the process became increasingly frustrating and unreasonable. Despite providing standard proof of purchase - including the exact date, amount, merchant name, last four digits of the card used, and the transaction reference number - the business repeatedly demanded increasingly intrusive banking documentation. I also offered several times to show the transaction directly on my phone in person, which was ignored or dismissed, only to later be restated by the business as though it were a new solution. Throughout the process, reasonable questions and privacy boundaries were characterized as “hostile”, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. The tone and approach felt defensive rather than solution-oriented. As a returning customer, this experience was particularly disappointing. The inability to locate or verify a simple $100 transaction using standard merchant records, combined with ignored emails and shifting requirements, reflects poor customer service and internal processes. Ultimately, I chose not to attend or redeem the gift card due to how this was handled. While the business may retain the $100 value, I feel it is important for others to be aware of how customer concerns are addressed - or not addressed - when issues arise. I would not recommend this business based on this experience.
This was my first experience in a salt cave. I go to hot springs regularly to keep my health strong. Southern Ontario doesn't seem to have any hot springs (please let me know if I am wrong!!!) so this was suggested to me as a substitute as I am visiting family here. I went in with a bit of a chest cold and a really stressed body from overexposure to the electrosmog of the city. Within minutes of being in the cave, I could feel my muscles kind of twinkling (that's the best word I can think of to explain it). Kind of like they were coming back to life. After doing some gentle yoga stretching in the cave, my body feels really relaxed. My hair feels stronger, like I swam in the ocean. My mind is relaxed similar to being in a mineral pool. The woman there went above and beyond, staying late to accommodate my having a full session after I booked past the last slot time of the day. Then she gracefully stayed even longer as I picked some beautiful salt lamps for my family (even though her family was calling & waiting for her...). Thank you for helping me! 💗 Will make a world of difference for my health over the next few days of still being in the city. Definitely a beneficial addition to a eudaemonic routine. Thank you! Loved it 🌞✨
I really like this place for massages (I usually get the stress away treatment), but I tried the facial service this time and was a little concerned. There were not nearly enough questions asked on the form. I use active skincare ingredients which makes me skin sensitive so some of the products stung. They were also heavily fragranced so just know that this isn’t the place to get a facial if you have sensitive skin. Again I like the place and will come back for other services but was disappointed by the facial. Also expensive for a facial that’s not customized to the client
I love coming to Nature’s Salt Cave! I have become somewhat of a regular since last year. It’s a little bit of a hidden gem-tucked away in an area that is easy to miss! The facility itself is beautiful from the salt room to the salt cave. Very clean, well set up. The staff are amazing and I have enjoyed every service offered so far (my favourite being the relaxation massage!). They have monthly promotions as well, which is fun if you want to try something new out at a lower price! Really can’t say enough good things. Thanks Nature’s Salt Cave!
I had a stress away treatment in the salt cave and I left feeling amazing! The massage was done very well and I felt very relaxed, my favourite part was the neck/head. It was also for the entire hour unlike other places that finish before the hour or try to stick a consultation in the same window. The ladies working there are very sweet and kind and provide great customer service! I will definitely be back :)
