Nordik Spa

I recently visited Nordik Spa-Nature Chelsea again, and as always, the overall experience was very good. I’ve visited this spa many times, and it continues to be one of my favorite spa getaways. The property is very clean, well maintained, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I also really appreciate their new no-phone policy — it truly makes the experience even better. It’s so refreshing to disconnect from screens and fully relax without distractions. If you’re planning to book a massage, make sure you reserve it in advance because the spots fill up very quickly. We tried the thermal therapy, and it’s a must-experience, especially during the cold winter. Moving between hot, cold, and relaxation areas in the snowy setting is absolutely amazing. The sauna rituals are also a must-try. They take place every hour and last about 15 minutes in one of the saunas. The experience is very well organized and adds something special to your visit. I’ve also tried their restaurants on each visit. I like how they change the menu seasonally, and the chefs usually come up with creative and delicious dishes every time. However, during this visit, the food options were a bit disappointing for vegetarian or vegan guests. The only options available were tofu and noodles, which felt quite limited. I hope they expand their plant-based menu in the future. Overall, the cozy ambiance of the spa village makes it a perfect place to unwind, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

TL:DR Great party spot - had a fun time We recently visited Nordik Spa-Nature Chelsea, and while there were definite positives, the overall experience fell short of what we expected for a spa focused on relaxation. The installations are genuinely beautiful. The site is well designed, visually impressive, and pleasant to move through. The food was also quite good overall—better than expected—although one salad we ordered was runny, which was disappointing given the price point. What really impacted our experience, however, was the atmosphere. Despite the spa being clearly divided into silent zones, whispering zones, and more talkative areas, the noise level felt consistently high throughout the site. Many spaces meant for quiet did not feel calm at all, and conversations easily carried from one area to another. At times, it felt more like a lounge than a true wellness retreat. What’s most confusing is the lack of enforcement. The rules are clearly posted, and the zoning concept itself makes sense—but it simply isn’t applied. We’ve been to other spas where quiet is the norm: if you’re there, you lower your voice, and if you want to talk, you move to a dedicated area. Nordic has this structure in place, but without enforcement, it loses its purpose. With clearer oversight, this could easily be a much more relaxing experience.

I visited Nordik Spa-Nature in Chelsea while I was in college. I still remember how incredible the experience was. The spa is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by scenic views that make it the perfect getaway, especially during winter when it’s snowing. I spent the whole day there and also booked a full-body massage separately, which was so relaxing and worth it. The spa has multiple saunas, hot and cold tubs, and I loved trying out a couple of their sauna rituals that happen at different times of the day. Even though I don’t remember all the details, I do remember how unique and calming they were. I also dined at their on-site restaurant, the food was delicious and made the day feel even more complete. Overall, the pricing was very reasonable for the experience and amenities they offer. I’d definitely love to visit again and explore the other options I didn’t get to try. Highly recommend this spa for anyone looking to unwind and treat themselves! 💆♀️❄️

Very nice staff, the spa area is beautiful and plenty to choose from for locations to enjoy during the thermal experience. We had a late lunch and the service, food and drinks were so delicious, fresh, flavorful. The locker area is very clean and designed well. The spa itself has so much to offer from hot to cold to rest, so many spaces it never feels crowded. We were lucky to be there during daylight to see the beautiful grounds but also stayed to dark and the lights came on and it looked so pretty, relaxing. If you can go at a time to experience both, do it. No phones allowed but got a pic going into the building and leaving on the outside of the spa. You won’t see phones or cameras inside the spa, it’s a very nice experience for everyone that way. Highly recommended.

My mom and I received this as a Christmas gift. We were set on experiencing the whole spa and feel we did a pretty good job trying! We went on a very cold day and it was still very busy, but we were also able to enjoy ourselves and keep warm with there many saunas, outdoor hot tubs and warming relaxation rooms. It was one of the best experiences and words are hard to describe it. You must experience it for yourself. (One side note, make sure to do your research ahead of time because you have to prebook any treatments or massages and it helps to give you an idea of what to bring and how to best experience the spa)
