I was disappointed not only in my manicure at Nourish Boutique but the overall experience. Although the physical space is clean and has a nice ambiance my experience was not satisfactory. The 'bot' booking service was frustrating and impersonal, I had questions about the services and there was too much back and forth with a bot that could not properly answer questions. On arrival at the location, customers are not greeted at the door, rather they are directed to message a bot or call a number that no one picks up, my daughter and I had to wait outside for several minutes in the rain before someone let us in. The service I received was nothing over what I would get at a cheap and cheerful salon. When my aesthetician was being too rough on my cuticles, I asked for her to be more gentle on them - I was then rudely asked twice if I would like to do it myself. My one hour treatment as per the menu, lasted less than 45 minutes. For a total of $70.00 I was not only underwhelmed but was disrespected. The attached photo is a picture of my nails the following day.
I have been canceled DAY OF 3 times now!!!! I understand things come up BUT 3 times??!! The first time a brow wax and tint no big deal the second a Brazilian 3 days before I was flying out for vacation and today a spa pedicure a week before I’m about to give birth so obviously VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Once I get but 3 times and literally an hour before I’m scheduled to come in…like my time doesn’t matter??!! The receptionist is extremely unapologetic in fact I got the “I don’t know what to say” I go to spas REGULARLY and I have NEVER had this happen other than at Nourish. Once is a random event THREE TIMES IS A PATTERN!!! The customer service is awful and the prices are outrageous find somewhere better to spend your money!!
It looked nice inside and the people were great, but i came in for a manicure and considering the price, i was disappointed. she didn’t prep my nails in any way, didn’t file or trim my nails or push back cuticles and when she painted them she did one layer and didn’t put a top coat on so two days later, they’re half chipped and gone. regardless, i decided to go back a couple of months later for a lash lift and tint. i went in with a light layer of mascara on and when i left, it looked like all they did was wipe my mascara off. they weren’t curled in any way except for four lashes on only one of my eyes. everyone was very nice, i just think they’re very undertrained for the price you have to pay.
I recently experienced the spring seasonal pedicure at Nourish and was blown away by the level or care and service. From the moment I walked in the staff was so attentive, helping me pick out a perfect polish colour since I wanted a specific sunshine yellow. The service was very well done, they walked me through each step and did a very thorough job. The hot stones were definitely my favourite part but I also appreciated the themed touches like the lemon tea and the lemon shortbread from The Shortbread Company. Highly recommend!
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Nourish today! We were gifted pedicures from my other daughter. Their new location is beautiful! We enjoyed our pedicure treatment, exfoliating scrub and amazing foot and leg massage! Our two lovely estheticuans, Jazzmine and Kamaya, were very attentive and professional! Thank you, we look forward to visiting again! Terry & Katie
