The campground offers some nice facilities, including attractive water slides. However, several aspects could be improved to enhance the visitor experience. The pool water is rather cold, which can reduce swimming comfort. There are no washrooms in the immediate vicinity of the pool, which can complicate logistics for families. Adherence to the rules around the pool sometimes seems to be left to the discretion of campers: scooters circulate, and some bring carts and drinks, limiting the space for setting up chairs. The snack bar was unfortunately closed for health reasons, with no alternative solution provided, during the construction period. Regarding animals, some seasonal campers' dogs roam off-leash, which can create uncomfortable situations for other campers, especially when they bark or chase other dogs. It would be advisable to encourage compliance with the rules regarding dogs. Ultimately, the sites near the seasonal campers' area seemed poorly prepared for the arrival of new visitors: the grass was quite high (about 8 to 10 inches), giving the impression that our arrival hadn't been anticipated. A seasonal camper told me that the sites are expensive compared to other campgrounds offering many more services. It's a shame, but we'll never return. Hopefully, this feedback will help address the issues!

Phew! Upon arrival, the grounds were filthy, the grass uncut. The pool water was freezing cold, and the lifeguards' attitude was ridiculous—they had no common sense. The website advertises a snack bar and ice cream shop, but there was none of that. It was closed for the season. Dogs galore! The campsites were small; we were in the seasonal area, and the grounds were poorly maintained. Around the pool, there were scooters everywhere, etc. It was the first and last time. The only positive point was the guy who showed us to our site—super nice! Well done! The roads in the campground were very poorly maintained, and none of the rules at the pool were enforced. The seasonal campers' dogs tried to eat you as you walked by on your way to the pool. And lastly, I say to all the staff: a smile on your face isn't dangerous; on the contrary, it's a pleasure, especially when you work with the public. This campground is sorely lacking in love.

Fun area, closed off campground. Very francophone and crowded. If you want tranquility and relaxation, that is not the place. Loud music in the middle of the night. So go with adults who like to party. We got a tent far from the center so at least we could sleep well. Then walked 5 minutes to the center where there is a large fun park pool and junk food stands. I will go again with friends. Overall was really fun. Felt like I was in the 1990s when I had hair.

You have to like this kind of campground where everyone is packed in like sardines, because you can clearly hear your neighbor's kids at 5 a.m. when you're trying to sleep. The pool and slides are great fun. My site was very wooded, which was nice, but muddy for three days even though it had only rained the first day. It's not far from a beautiful lake and close to the activities in Shawinigan.

Very nice family campground with water slide, small stocked lake, paved road, paved bmx track, playground equipment, mini-putt, train ride, foam party, you can cross the street and go kayaking, pedal boating, paddleboarding or simply bring your own boats and more....
