The couple who owns this place are super sweet and the location of the spa is secluded and you're truly surrounded by nature. It's definitely peaceful and private however there are quite a few downfalls to the place. There are only 2 small heated tubs and 1 small cold pool. The heated tubs are so small that you can fit 4 people comfortably and 6 people maximum. There's 2 dry saunas outside, followed by 1 tiny infared sauna inside (which fits 1 person AND needs to be turned on for 15 minutes before it reaches it's temperature). There are many chairs/hanging chairs but with a weight limit of 180lbs, therefore most men can't use them. There's no spa music at all on the premises except inside this 1 small outdoor hut which fits 3 chairs only. There's a lot of outdoor chairs but nowhere secluded to just "relax". There was no fireplaces at all on the site as well as no steam room and other things that you would usually find at a spa, and in both the men and women locker rooms there's 1 shower, 1 toilet and no private changing room. You can tell that the couple cares about their property as one of the owners was constantly cleaning the hot tubs, and they hung pictures of before, during and after around their property. I feel like their idea is good, the location is very secluded and peaceful, however the spa is lacking in so many areas and you pay the same price as you would any other spa. Needless to say that we paid for 4 hours but left after 2.5hours as neither of us felt zen and we got bored of going around in circles. I truly believe that this place can be amazing if they continue working on it!
Multi family home - turned spa. The owners are lovely, friendly people who want to make your stay nice and relaxing. You can tell this is a small business. Nice people working there. Place is tranquil and pretty with all the trees. Sandwiches and beer was very good. Thank you. There are quiet sensory rooms, cute idea if that’s something you might need. Decor quite nice and unique for a spa. Food was nice. And over all it has a very cozy, warm feeling. I feel this place must be really nice in the fall and winter. Why I gave a 3 star The spa is under staffed and we witnessed the female owner doing many jobs, rushing around. I had the male owner as my masseuse, due to lack of staff that day. The spa opens at 11AM. We went in at 11AM. There was garbage left, seemingly from the day before, in the locker rooms, and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The hot tubs and cold pool had bugs and leaves in it; which is understandable given the amount of trees around, but we had to skim the hot tubs ourselves. The doors in the bathroom and locker rooms were very dirty and needs painting over. The fake plants/flowers (there are many) need to be dusted badly. The bathroom sink was dirty and the over all feeling is it wasn’t too clean. Unfortunately, I don’t feel the $$$ is worth the stay. But the place is pretty.
5 STARS!!!! My wife and I went there today, we took the 4 hour spa access package. There is a combination of 2 hot tubs, 1 cold tub, infrared sauna, wet sauna and a dry sauna. You can get food, drinks, beverages and there are several gazebos and hammocks to relax. They even offer massage options at an extra cost. What makes it extra special is the owners. They are so sweet, professional, attentive and they really take care of the guests. The place is also very well maintained. One of the owners is constantly outside cleaning, picking up leaves etc. while the other host takes care of the guest's needs inside. It's also a great value. We will definitely go back again. We left feeling so relaxed, all our stress was just drained out of us!!!! Thank you and see you soon!!!!
Nice little gem nestled in the trees of Rigaud. Very small, but intimate experience. 4 hours was not enough time to explore all this spa has to offer, next time I go I would book the 8 hours to try the various relaxation rooms and eat at the bistro. Massage was fantastic with Gica. One downside was that there were a few people not respecting spa rules, who were quite noisy and while the staff was circulating, these noisy guests didn’t seem to quiet down. While this is not the spas fault, it did take away from our experience, so be mindful when you visit of the other guests! Otherwise very happy with our time at Paradisos spa and will absolutely return.
My time at Paradisos spa was nothing short of a rejuvenative experience. The beautiful outdoor setup, the soothing sound of the trees and the warmth and kindness of the staff all came together for a truly relaxing escape. One of the masseuses was very attentive to our needs during the massage. My wife had fallen asleep outside and the owner put a blanket on her without waking her. Compliments of the staff! Now that's service!! My wife and I cannnot wait to return to this haven. If you want to avoid large crowds and really want to relax... this is where you should go!
