RITUAL Nordic Spa

After finally visiting this place, i must agree with all the previous reviews - it is not worth the $69+ tax entry fee. Its not the price, its the value. I dont feel this way leaving Havn which is more expensive, or Aerth, which is less expensive. Simply, what they offer does not match the price. We were there on the very slow night, so best conditions one might say, and still i feel this way. One sauna, one steam room, one cold plunge. Any more people than already were there and you will end up waiting. It was clean everywhere except the ladies showers. Lots of hair, cheap liner shower curtain that attracts every spec. If you upcharge for the weekend, then someone should check on the cleanliness of it because the drain was covered with black hair, which gave me the ick. The outdoors patio is especially sad, missing a purpose. An outdoors hot tub or even a simple $100 propane fireplace would add some life to it, otherwise if its raining - the chairs are unusable as there is no cover. The fake grass and the overall vibe is not spa like at all. Go to Aerth, see what they have done, they are working with a lot less space and managed to make it really cozy and spa-like. Water fountain - community pool like, rather than spa. Again - offer a nicer setting, with lemon or cucumber water - so cheap, but elevates the experience making it a spa rather than a community pool. In my opinion, at $69 price - electrolites for free is a MUST. That is rule number one for feeling good during the sauna, you have to replenish electrolites or you get a headache if you are me. Here - only for purchase, but even if i purchased it, cups are too small to properly dilute it. Again, Aerth and Havn figured it out, you can too - super easy one.... Yeah honestly...for $69 i will not be back, there are now better alternavies available. GIven everywhere else i tried - i would say this should be half of that, at $35 tops. Otherwise, not worth it.

We attended the regular circuit and it included steam room and dry sauna (can throw water on the rocks though). It also has the salt lounge, cold plunge, bucket shower, and outdoor patio. It was quite busy but everything was available and we did not wait too long. The salt room was a very pleasant experience and the highlight of our visit to Ritual Nordic Spa. There is no warm or hot tub, though, a stark difference from most spas that we felt was lacking. I booked the cedar suite at Ritual Nordic Spa and was disappointed to learn from that for 2x the price ($279+tax for 2 vs $144 + tax for 2), they do not include the regular amenities such as the bucket shower and salt room. The suites are literally through this area, and only have a small cold plunge wood tub and a small sauna. They asked if I wanted to book a regular circuit after, but the bucket shower and salt room should really be part of the same experience. I think this is misrepresented because on the cedar suite booking page, they include photos of the rest of the sauna and amenities, as if it were part of the suite or included, but it is not. Robes are not included but you can rent a towel poncho for $30 for two. It is not a robe, it is a towel hoodie. I want to like this place, but everything is an add-on.

I don't post reviews unless there is really something I need to say. Can there please be some spa etiquette posted or remind some customers before their session? There was this group of 6-7 people stayed at the sauna for over 1 hr. And the entire time they were talking loudly, so loud that we can hear it from the other steam room. And when we ask kindly for them to keep it down a bit, they were defensive and said it is a social sauna. Then one girl of the group started to make passive aggressive remarks. We didn't want to argue with anyone and we just wanted to relax. There is a difference between social volume and just simply obnoxiously loud. If you are reading this to decide to go to this spa or not, I'd say facility is decent but depending on the timing and other people you end up using the facility with. We have been there multiple times, most of the times, the experience were great. Hope you don't have to endure any loud yapping when you are paying to relax. Lovely little spa. Steam room and sauna were great. I opted to go outside in the private courtyard with seating in the cool rain rather than the cold plunge, great suggestion from the front desk. It gives the same feeling of a Nordic experience instead of the shocking cold plunge. My spouse did the plunge and loved it. I can see it being difficult to experience a small space if it's fully booked but we went off season and it was just us a few others so it made it truly relaxing. Nice to have a 1hr or 2hr option. I was going to score 4 stars based solely on small details such as no hand/face cream in the restrooms for after the experience, no swimsuit spinning dryer that most spas have but I gave 5 stars because i made a last minute decision to add a massage and it absolutely fantastic! Riva gave me the best massage I ever had. Perfect pressure which she checked in on a couple times during the hour. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Used circuit today at 4:30pm. A group of 6 friends came in laughing and yapping at very loud volumes, and only used the sauna the whole time. We asked them nicely if they could keep it down, which they did for about 5 mins before starting up again, at same volume. Also, the cold pludge was very dirty in the afternoon, full of hairballs. Would recommend cleaning that in the afternoon too. I know Tuesday nights are quite time. My recommendation would be to add at least 3 days a week to have quiet hours (ex. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). I have done 7 sessions here and people in morning are respectful but this experience was disappointing to say the least. Thank you for hearing our feedback.
