Scandinave Spa Mont

The location itself is beautiful and very peaceful. It is a smaller spa compared to places like Nordik, and honestly, that is part of its charm. There are fewer people, more intimate spaces, and a calmer overall atmosphere. That said, the experience has some major gaps for the price point. The biggest miss is the food situation. The bistro is tiny, with very limited options and minimal service. For a spa where people are expected to stay the entire day and there is no in-and-out privilege, this feels like a huge missed opportunity. Are guests expected to bring their own food? If so, that raises issues around allergies and practicality. A proper restaurant or at least a more robust dining area would make a massive difference and feels necessary given the length of stay and the entrance price. Another major downside is the strict silence policy. Silence is enforced everywhere. Not just quiet. Total silence. There is no designated social or low-noise area to talk, not even to whisper. Staff constantly walk around reminding guests not to speak at all. The only place where conversation is allowed is the reception and bistro area, which are right next to each other. Unless you are genuinely ready to take a vow of silence for the day, this can feel excessive and honestly frustrating. While some people may love this, it should be much clearer upfront because it defines the entire experience. There was also a safety concern during our winter visit on December 14. We noticed large ice formations hanging above certain outdoor areas near the warm baths. You could feel water droplets falling, and given the proximity of the pools below, it did not feel secure. We even saw a chunk of ice already on the ground when we arrived, which made us extra cautious. For an entrance price of around $125 plus tax, guests should not have to worry about potential falling ice while trying to relax. Service overall was acceptable but inconsistent. I understand that staffing in Mont-Tremblant can be challenging, but at this price level, employees need to be fully trained and attentive across the board. On a positive note, the massages were excellent. We had two treatments, and both therapists were great. Yes, the price is high at around $152 per massage, but the quality made it worth it. The secluded setting also adds to the appeal, as Mont-Tremblant is a more upscale, exclusive area. Overall, the spa has a beautiful setting and a unique, intimate feel. With better food options, clearer communication about the silence policy, improved safety measures in winter, and more consistent service, this could be an outstanding experience. As it stands, it feels overpriced for what is offered.

I’ve come here many times now, I usually come New Year’s Eve but missed the last couple. I came this New Year’s Eve to soak. The water quality is not like it was a few years ago, I have sensitive skin and I get rashes from chlorine, I never got the reaction here but this year I did, and very bad too. So not sure if they had just added chemicals that day or what. I would have liked if the pools were different temperatures. All the hot pools were the same temp and just too hot. And all the cold pools were the same cold temperatures. I don’t remember them being like this last time I was here. But some different temperatures in the pools would be nice. I was either way too hot or way too cold. the price is very high unless you’re spending the whole day there, and also they now accept minors 14 and up. I don’t like this as it takes away from the exclusivity of the place. People not respecting the no phones and taking pictures are awful and should be kicked out. Positives; The staff were all so nice and helpful. The place is beautiful, the offered hot tea is perfect, the pools are wonderful, I especially love the steam rooms and saunas. And the relaxation areas really round off the place and make for some amazing naps. It truly is a special place.

Incredible experience! We've been to the Blue Mountain spa location, Chelsea location, Whistler location and Thermea in Whitby. We would put this spa at the top of our list beside Whistler's location. The setting is majestic, the most points it gets is for the fresh water river cold plunge. 🥶 Today the river was all snowed up and at -2 degrees! No chlorine cold plunge, like it should be! Worth every penny! The saunas have a nice lookout, we saw a deer 🦌 in the forrest at dusk. It was magical. Finally, staff is amazing. Waterfalls are loud enough that you can whisper when walking, which is nice for couples and friends. Also, unlimited towels and you don't have to pay extra for the robe like at Blue Mountain. The floors are actually heated everywhere... warm rocks to step on. We also paid in prime season under $100 each because they give you a discount with ski lift tickets and Birthdays. 100% recommend! We were there 6PM until 10PM. 💜♥️

One of the best spas close to Montreal. Beautiful and clean space to relax and be zen. Newly renovated saunas and steam saunas. The river is cut open during the winter months for those who would like to dip in and test out the 2c water. They also have a guided tour of the facility to help show newcomers the hot, cold, relaxation cycles and meditation. Massages are always on point and the staff is helpful and polite. The restaurant has decent food for a small bite to satisfy your hunger. The only thing that disappointed me a tad was that they only have 1 selection of red wine. I would have liked to see a bigger selection but that's just me. Overall amazing experience every time!

Great experience! A very, very beautiful area with an amazing atmosphere and excellent facilities. It’s incredibly easy to relax here. One of the best parts is the thermal circuit — moving from the hot water straight into the coldest water EVER. They literally break ice on the river, which gives you an insane adrenaline rush. After that, relaxing in the rooms feels even better. I’m honestly addicted to this cycle and can’t wait to come back for the third time!
