Scandinave Spa Whistler

This place is the ultimate relaxation experience in Whistler. When it's good (usually at open or close) it's amazing and impossible to beat. Make sure you do follow the "Thermal Journey" of hot-cold-relax. It does something magical to your body that you don't otherwise get if you just sit in the hot tubs. The experience in the winter is great, but this place really shines in the summer when the hammocks and day beds become desirable. You can literally spend all day here. I would avoid peak times for the best experience. There are a couple of potential downsides to be aware of: - The prices have increased astronomically (especially for massage + bath access) in the last several years. Keeping up with demand and market pricing, but it's still a bit of sticker shock for those of us who have been visiting for years. - It can get busy. And when it is busy it completely takes away from the experience. It is designated as a "Silent" spa, but there are often groups of people chatting in the hot tubs and around the spa. The staff walk around in jackets with "silence" embroidered on the back, but it has been years since I have seen a staff member actually address anyone talking in the spa. I miss the days where the staff were referred to as "shushers"... - They did renovate a few things a couple of years ago, but it is starting to show it's age. Especially when it gets busy the changrooms start to look more like a civic rec centre than a luxury spa.

I've never been to Scandinavian spa before so this was a new experience for me. The place was very beautiful and clean. That was basically the only best part I could say. Place like this is a social gathering. No talking in the entire property other than lobby/cafe felt like I was experiencing 1984. They only had 2 hot tubs 1 slightly hotter than the other and rest were cold plunge. I get why they only had 2 hot tubs but with the coat I paid to get in, was not happy about it. Saunas were basically normal ones so nothing to say about that. I guess my expectations were too high after experiencing way, way better services in Asia where they have multiple pools with different themes and hotter temperatures. It was decent one time thing but I doubt I'd drive another 2 hours to use this facility. I'd rather pay and stay at Harrison to get real hot springs. At least that is mineral water...

I honestly wish I could live here. The whole experience was amazing and so peaceful. We ended up staying for about 7 hours and could have easily stayed longer. It was the perfect place to truly unplug and relax without screens. I loved slowly wandering through all the different spaces — the saunas, hot and cold pools, waterfalls, reading rooms, and solariums. Everything felt really calming and thoughtfully designed. I also had a great massage with Aubrey. Afterward we grabbed food from the café, which was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. I had the turkey gouda sandwich and a chai tea latte and both hit the spot. Such a relaxing experience overall. I will absolutely come back. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful thermal spa nestled in Whistler’s beautiful terrain. Relaxing place to spend a few hours or even a day with 3 cold plunge pools, hot pools, eucalyptus steam rooms (amazing), saunas & relaxation rooms. You get a robe & a towel - I suggest taking a cloth bag, bottle, slippers & book with you. Theres herbal tea & water around to stay hydrated. They also have items there for purchase. You have to leave your phones in the locker room and asked to be silent on the spa grounds. There’s a little bistro in the lobby area with some sandwiches & pastries. Great experience over all 👍

One of the best relaxation experiences I’ve ever had! The place is incredibly peaceful and quiet — perfect for disconnecting. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere feels truly special. The saunas and the warm and cold pools are a bit small but really cozy and refreshing. It’s definitely the best spot to relax, unwind, and even enjoy a good book — everyone seems to be doing that here! Highly recommended for anyone looking for total relaxation in Whistler.
