Setri Nordic Spa

Local first time visitor, recommended by my neighbour who is a regular. What a beautiful experience! So relaxing, clean and healing! The owners are so lovely. It’s a family run business that carries the warmth, professionalism and kindness that makes me proud to live in the Cowichan valley! Will be back and bringing friends and family! I would suggest bringing two towels. One to sit on in the sauna and another to dry and flip flops are a bonus to bring! Thank you so much for a solo season they brought wonderful conversation with others.

A gorgeous spot, sauna and tubs nestled in the forest. The sauna is roomy and there are essential oils available by choice. We tried all four. Two super cold tubs and one ambient temperature (which still felt very cold) to choose from. And there is a cold shower, bucket shower and warm shower. Change rooms provided. Hot tea or cold water is available while you warm yourself by the outdoor fire pit, which is a nice touch. Friendly host. The time flew by we enjoyed it so much. 🩷

We had an amazing time at Setri, we were greeted by Max a polite young man who welcomed us and thanked us for visiting. He showed us the layout of the spa, and there was hot tea and water for us to enjoy during our visit. The setting is simply relaxing and so inviting. We loved it , and met others who had been several times and raved about the spa experience. We slept like babies that night and will be back soon.

Such an incredible place from the gorgeous sauna to the perfect setting in the forest, and the cozy fire. All natural wood finishing everywhere. Very clean. The owners are the most welcoming hosts who add to an already positive experience. Love the hot tea provided as well. The hot shower was the perfect addition! Thank you for providing this space for community members to gather and enjoy.

We booked this magical spot out for an exclusive anniversary session for just the two of us and we will do it again! Everything was perfect from the kindness of the host Ryan, to the arrival experience walking through the tree canopy adorned with fairy lights, fire pit, double plunge pools plus an ambient temp claw foot tub - I can’t speak highly enough about this little private escape.
