Rarely do I leave a review, and I love supporting small businesses. I went in to the salt cave a couple weeks ago. The aesthetician was working the front desk and she was amazing. She was super accommodating (I had a newborn who needed to sleep and she was great with both of us) Totally understood that it’s hard to book a specific time because I never know when my baby is going to sleep. She said it was not a problem. That first day it was such an amazing experience that I bought a 5 pass the day after. I also went a couple more times that week and because my baby was sleeping I did a hand and foot detox. Yesterday I went in again to use the salt cave. A different lady was at the front desk. She was prickly, full of attitude and had zero customer service skills. She wasn’t directly “rude” but subtly created every barrier she could for me to enjoy peace in the salt cave and her story kept changing as to why she couldn’t accommodate me being in the cave at 1:30 instead of 2 (the place was empty). And if there was a client, she said she couldn’t walk 10 steps to lock the door after I left. The place isn’t that big. Unfortunately it’s always the bad apple that leaves a taste in your mouth. I had to go into the salt cave to detox from the manager. I run a business of my own and accommodating your clients brings in more sales - which is why I spent so much money that first week with the other lady.

My wife and I arrived there a half hour early and the first thing she said to us was “you know you’re half an hour early”. Pretty rude. Then when we went into the sauna there were hardly any instructions. She didn’t even tell us what the wooden thing was that later I found out was a back rest. Would have been nice to know. She knew we hadn’t been in that type of sauna before so it was all new to us. It looked like we were bothering her. When we paid she said there would be a service charge if I used my credit card that it was reserved under which I thought was odd. I’ve never been told that before. I then paid with my debit and they ask for a tip. A tip for using a sauna with zero customer service and an unfriendly demeanour? I don’t think so. Also she never told us that 45 minutes is actually too long especially for the first time use. We were exhausted and run down and exhausted the rest of the day after the session.

My husband and I came here for a spa day celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. We had amazing experience the moment we stepped in. Everyone was welcoming and so sweet. Our RMT was outstanding and the scalp reset massage we had was so nice. Enjoyed our quiet time in the salt cave with a cozy blanket. Thank you for the lovely afternoon. I also noticed they have fall specials now I recommend taking time to come see Simply Salt Wellness.

I woke up with severe neck pain and could barely move. I was able to book a last-minute massage at The Salt Cave with Krystle, an RMT, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The room was relaxing, her technique was amazing, and she was gentle and attentive to my neck pain. She took the time to explain everything, was very knowledgeable, and truly helped get me on the path to healing. I would highly recommend her as a clinician!

I am still just in “awe” of this gem of a spot that I have found so local & close to home. I experienced an evening in the salt cave with vanessa Hurst, psychic medium and it was just remarkable, intimate and eye opening! I have booked future appointments they have so many things to offer! Thank you Whitney for being so kind and genuinely welcoming!
