We had the amazing opportunity to visit this spa twice on our trip and we wished we squeezed in another one! We were given a tour before committing and all the ladies were such gracious hosts. If you are a guest of Lakeside Villa Motel you get a discount! It is well worth it. The facilities are properly sanitized after each guest. This spa was truly a highlight of our trip and could not stop telling our friends to do it as well. You walk in there feeling like garbage (because you had a fun night with your friends the night before) and you walk out of there feeling like a million bucks and ready for another fun night!
We had a tremendous time here. Would highly, highly recommend it - it’s a bit of an unusual location for such an outstanding, relaxing spot. It’s a motel that has been tastefully renovated and this wonderful Nordic experience added in. It’s essentially a private sauna, ice baths, and a relaxation station (fire, tea, snacks). Would highly recommend getting the smores kit to enhance the fire experience. Just an awesome place to relax. Special shoutout to the live in caretaker - she was *wonderful*.
where to even start!!! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We had the healing room to stretch and relax before heading to the sauna and cold plunge. We loved how private everything was and I was extremely impressed with how clean the water tubs and everything was! seriously do yourself a favour and enjoy this private experience and Penticton I would easily pay $100 more than what I did for this experience.
Tucked away behind a motel this little sauna is an oasis amongst an urban juggle. The staff was super nice/helpful with reasonable pricing for an hour and change. The only knock I would have is the sauna is a prefab and I branded myself with an exposed screw head and at times it was hard to relax with load traffic noise. Outside of these two minor issues, it was an awesome experience and one I'd do again!
Very enjoyable and would recommend! The sauna is very clean and comfortable and they offer essential oils to enrich the experience. The ice bath was tough but once you get out your body feels so relaxed and they have a lovely outdoor canopy room that you can sit in with a fire and naturally warm up. Very comfortable and they serve tea and snacks which was a nice touch. Check it out!
