It was alright. The two women that did the service for myself and my husband were very friendly but I felt like it could have been much better. There were also two long 10+ minute chunks of time where they didn’t do anything and we were left in silence wondering what was going on. One of those moments they just put a facecloth on my face with water running over my eyes and it kind of felt like being politely waterboarded haha. I also feel like the knots in my hair should have been brushed out before wetting it, because a lot of the time after washing was spent trying to get the knots out without hurting me. I paid extra for the 1.5 hour experience, and to be honest; it just isn’t worth the price tag. I think if you’re getting a proper breakdown of the products being used on your hair, or you’re given some samples to leave with or even have them blow dry your hair for you maybe I could give it a 4 star, but the value just isn’t there. You’re better off just getting a regular massage. The videos on their social media make it look much more satisfying than it actually is. Again, the two women were lovely, I just wish I had read a review like my own before dropping $300+ dollars.

Last week, my friend brought me to Skines for a 60 minutes Scalpcial, and I really enjoyed it! Alexis provided excellent service. I loved everything from the massage, to the scalp exfoliation, to the shampoo, and how she checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout. I also received a hair treatment that left my bleached, damaged hair much softer than usual. The whole experience was incredibly relaxing. While lying there during the massage, it felt so good that I was already thinking about all the people I want to bring there. Can’t wait to go back!

My therapist, Alexya was beyond sweet and attentive. Contrary to some other reviews I’ve seen, she was massaging me the entire time (even during masks). She was amazing! The only things to note are : the walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking outside your room, the beds can become uncomfortable after 90 minutes (my neck was aching a little bit). My hair was quite dry after because it was under hot water for so long. This treatment is not to make your hair better. It is to make you feel relaxed and it did just that! Good experience overall

I appreciated my first experience at their center. First, I really appreciated how we were served Japanese tea while we were waiting, especially during this frigid weather. The atmosphere was so relaxing, the place is clean. I had 90 minutes massage with Alexis, she was excellent. I loved everything especially the opening of the séance, the water at the end, it was relaxing for my back, the essential oil. I appreciate also how we have intimacy in another room to dry our hair. It is a worthy experience to come back.

My first experience at a head spa was an interesting one! The facilities were new and clean. I chose the service in a room with 2 beds and did it together with my friend. There was a big emphasis on really scrubbing the scalp, like a really in-depth hair wash. Not so much a massage. I think (?) they then put a hair mask and activated it with a heat cap. Overall it was relaxing and something that you should try at least once with a friend as a girlie activity!
