Strøm spa nordique / Saint

I had visited this spa before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was such a disappointment. We arrived early, around 10 a.m., completed registration at the reception, and were given locker keys in section C, which is located in a separate area. Out of curiosity, I also checked the locker rooms in section A, and there were available lockers and free space at that time, which made the situation even more frustrating, as there was no clear reason to send us to section C. The women’s locker room in section C is small, old, and dirty. There are only two showers, one changing cubicle, and one toilet for the entire locker room, which is completely inadequate. There are very few hair dryers and mirrors, making it difficult to get ready comfortably. Even though I came earlier specifically to avoid crowds, I still had to leave with partially wet hair due to the lack of available hair dryers. The ceilings are very low, with exposed pipes hanging above — it feels more like a technical basement than a client space. Calling these rooms “guest facilities” is unacceptable. Unlike the main locker room (section A), there is no tea, no dry towels, and no basic comfort amenities nearby. I intentionally came early to avoid crowds, and I can only imagine how chaotic this area must be closer to closing time. To be fair, the views are beautiful, and the pool and sauna temperatures are good. However, this locker room completely ruined my experience, and for that reason, I cannot recommend this spa. Additionally, not all pool areas have non-slip mats, which creates a real risk of slipping.

We had a fantastic experience at Strom Nordic Spa. I am from Australia so this was a fantastic and unique experience. I’ve always enjoyed a hot sauna then a cold shower but this takes it to the next level. Beautiful hot, dry saunas, hot spas, hot steam sauna, straight into a cold plunge pool. The choice is yours from the vast facilities which were all perfectly clean and picturesque. Robes and towels were plentiful and the toilet and shower / locker facilities were very clean. The little cafe restaurant was lovely too with a small but fresh menu which was very satisfying. Staff were helpful and friendly. We also took the 1hr massage option which was amazing and we ended up spending about 4hrs there in total and could have stayed longer had we not been so relaxed and had to drive home!! Highly recommended that you visit and enjoy your stay. No doubt there are cheaper alternatives for your visit judging by some reviews we read before committing to our visit. Go ahead and spoil yourself you won’t regret it.

Large Spa in a very beautiful location. Lots of walking and stairs, baths and saunas are quite a walk from each other and given the slushy snow it was very dangerous. Saw quite a few people fall. Lots of room for improvement. Major expansion is required. The locker rooms are TINY. 3 sinks and 3 showers?! This is embarrassing for a spa that charges the same amount as much larger and more Equipped Scandinavian spa. All of the hot tubs are like warm, not hot at all Way too busy and packed. The spa should be allowing less people in. Customer service at the check in is a hit or a miss depending on who you deal with. The employees are sometimes quite arrogant and busy laughing and joking amongst one another. This is a spa and customer service should be top of mind. Coffee shop was 6/10 so we avoided the restaurant. Won’t be back until renovations are completed.

I've been a loyal customer of the Strom Spa company for over a decade with the first facility I ever used being in Ile-des-soeurs. I've since been to the one in Mont Saint-Hilaire and this one in Saint-Sauveur. What I really love about the one in the Laurentians is that even though the entrance to the building is next to a busy road, you could never tell because it really feels like tucked away in nature. I've been to 6 of the Nordic spa/ therma experience type of establishments and I'll say Strom really has one of the best customer experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and up-to-date and compared to other places I've been doesn't feel overcrowded.

K.mariax insta - Excellent visit to this spa in the winter with stunning views. The weather was about -8 degrees and it was just a beautiful scene. It was magical and I can't wait to visit again. I had a treatment prior to using the thermal spa and sauna, steam room. The little cafe had the French toast, grilled cheese and a cappuccino. All staff were helpful and approachable. My treatment was fantastic. The lady gave a great massage with the products and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were a little late and they were awaiting our arrival and didn't make any fuss. It was a delightful experience. I've been to the Nuns island and can't wait to visit Quebec location.
