A Perfect Family Getaway on Sunset Island! Our family trip to Sunset Island was nothing short of amazing! We visited with a group of close friends—six families in total, each with young children—and it was the perfect spot for all ages. The home itself was beautifully maintained and incredibly well-stocked. The beds were so comfortable after long days of fun in the sun. The kids had a blast, the calm waters made it safe and fun for even the younger ones to join in. What really stood out was the natural beauty of Sunset Island. The peaceful surroundings, gorgeous sunsets, and sense of seclusion made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. We made such special memories here and are already dreaming of coming back. We're still pinching ourselves after an unforgettable week on Sunset Island. We were six couples with young children, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The house was incredibly well-equipped—truly stocked with everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable, the linens luxurious, and the new live-edge dining table made our celebratory dinner feel extra special. The property was spotless, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. Though some in our group had to work during the trip, the Wi-Fi was exceptional—fast and completely reliable. The lower grassy area was perfect for the kids to run around and play between paddleboarding and kayaking sessions. Honestly, the photos don’t do this place justice. It's breathtakingly beautiful, and we already can’t wait to return.

We had an amazing family vacation at Sunset Island on Sproat Lake. It’s the perfect kid-friendly spot—private, peaceful, and packed with fun. The calm, clear water was ideal for swimming and paddleboarding, and the diving board provided hours of entertainment. The shallow shoreline felt safe for younger kids, and the private dock made water access easy. The kids loved exploring the island and roasting marshmallows by the firepit. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful sunsets, non-stop lake fun, and space to truly unwind—we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic place!! A unique and special trip that deserves all the props, it blew us away. It has everything you would want, a large cabin if it's rainy, amazing docks, pristine clear warm waters, a hot tub, a flat grass area for lawn games, a diving board into the lake, secluded campsite if you want em, a private love shack, and fully equipped with absolutely everything you could think of. We might have to make this an annual trip. There was 30+ of us, about half and half kids to parents and we never felt crowded. Bring sunscreen and enjoy a very neat BC family vacation.

An absolute hidden gem! We stayed here with our three kids and had the most incredible time. The setting is stunning — peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The kids loved the open grassy areas and paddling in the lake, while we soaked in the views (and the hot tub!). We were even lucky enough to witness the northern lights from the hot tub one night — such a pinch me moment. The chalets were cozy and family friendly, and we felt totally relaxed the entire time. Perfect spot for families looking to disconnect and unwind. Highly recommend!
