I've been here 6-7 times now, I really like the concept and I enjoy my time while I'm in it but the rest of the experience has room for improvement. I typically come in for a sauna followed by a float session. The sauna is nice and hot (a dry sauna) but it's also dead quiet with no sound proofing. A Bluetooth speaker is in the room for use if you have a device that can connect and play music off of. If not, then you have to listen to all of the sounds of the hallway. You can hear anyone talking, anyone rolling a mop cart, anyone cleaning the float rooms as clear as can be. It doesn't make for a relaxing environment. It might help if the hallway wasn't so solid and industrial. It's the ideal conditions for every sound to bounce off the walls and amplify. I've tried both pod and pool and I find the pool is the better option solely for the fact that the pod gets too hot for me. If I don't keep the lid open a little I end up sweating. Aside from that, both offer similar experiences. Microfiber towels are provided for drying off after the shower. Maybe it's just me, but I find the towels seem to just push water around rather than absorb and dry you off; leaving you to get dressed with a damp body, which is uncomfortable to say the least. I usually bring my own towel for this reason. It seems to be a new practice, but it's quite abrasive for the staff to knock on your door to hurry up and get out after your relaxing float session. At my last visit, my session ended at 11:30 and a sharp knock on the door came at 11:40. I guess you're expected to get out of the float, shower off, get dried off, get dressed, and get out in under 10 minutes. Not really the best way to end the experience. All in all, the experience of floating is good and worth trying, but your time going in and coming out may not be relaxing.

My wife and I each booked a float pod and it was such an awesome experience. The facility and staff are top notch. Very friendly and informative - they'll walk you through everything and answer all your questions. It is very comfortable and clean. A bit of a learning curve the first time around, but there is a reason for everything and it'll all make sense once you get there. Will definitely be going again. Also is an awesome place for gift certificates of you're looking for a unique gift for someone. Thanks again.

I had my very first float session today. It's such an amazing and relaxing feeling. I can hardly wait to go back. The staff are so nice and knowledgeable. They made me comfortable. Made sure I understood every step. I felt as though I would have preferred it a little more on the hot side, which I just have to ask for! Now I know what I like. The suggestions for my next visit were so helpful. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming & pleasant. It is very clean and well laid out. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This is my happy self-care place. I am sporty and I often need a massage to get rid of tension in my muscles. The rooms are cozy, clean, warm and the light is soft. They smell good! I relax the minute I walk into Surface Float. RMTs and staff are nice, smiling, welcoming people. The vibe is incredible, just what I need!

A great alternative for pain management and stress relief. The sauna, took my pain down a level on the pain scale. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. I felt a genuine caring for my well being. I will encourage friends and family to go. 100%. If you have chronic pain, try this.
