Sylvan Steam & Spa

We tried this spa for the first time today. We did an hour long couples steam. It was so incredibly relaxing. We were welcomed by such a kind woman at the front desk. She gave us clear instructions, and then left us for some quiet time. The steam room, shower room and changing area was so CLEAN. The towels smelled nice, and having extra was a bonus. The steam was easy to control, and the aromatherapy a nice extra touch. I also liked that it wasn’t single use toiletries, so as not to be a waste. The body scrub felt so good after that steam! Thank you for a great experience, we can’t wait to come back again.

We had a FANTASTIC one hour couples deluxe steam with the aromatherapy, towels and waters. The value cannot be beat!! Having your own space to change, shower and steam makes it all the more relaxing, and the output of the unit creating the heat/steam is insane!! We had to turn it off at least three times to get the room to cool down, and made good use of the handheld cooling shower wand in the steam room. We visit Red Deer often and it’s well worth the 15 min drive to Sylvan Lake to this amazing spa. Spotless facility with all the amenities, and great inviting service. We will be back!

Our experience here has always been a great one! Beautiful atmosphere and great facility. Our only complaint is that the building's fire alarm was going off on our last visit and the poor staff had no way of dealing with it as the building owner is out of town on weekends and he had the only access to the control panel. Thankfully, we could not hear it in the steam baths but the same could not be said for the poor staff in the rest of the building. But overall, we would highly recommend!

This has consistently been an awesome place to relax. The individual steam rooms are clean and the aromatherapy personalization is a such a nice touch. I also had a deep tissue massage and my RMT was very professional and checked in with me before during and after the massage. The warm table, the dim lights and the starscape projection all adds to the lovely ambiance of serenity. Definitely recommend trying them out when you are in the area. Such a gem!

Just finished my sugar scrub with Karen D. and it was seriously amazing! I would definitely recommend Sylvan Lake Steam & Spa and I would highly suggest booking with Karen D. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have never felt so relaxed. The Spa is very nice, very clean and actually very affordable. Don’t sleep on self-care, it’s worth every penny :)
