A Hidden Gem Near Winnipeg – Ox+Bow Is Simply Perfect We honestly can't express how amazed and grateful we are to have discovered Ox+Bow. This place completely exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. The hosts are incredibly supportive, and you can tell that every single detail has been thought through with love and intention. Everything—from the luxurious amenities to the perfectly organized setup—feels five-star. The hot tub, sauna, outdoor barbecue, and the beautiful terrace by the riverside created the perfect setting for our girls’ getaway. We spent our time laughing, relaxing, eating, drinking, and just enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. The indoor space is warm, cozy, and full of character—beautifully designed and truly feels like a home away from home. After three years in Canada, this was our first proper escape from the city, and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The fact that it’s not far from Winnipeg makes it even more amazing. We’re extremely thankful to have found this diamond of a place. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would recommend Ox+Bow to absolutely everyone looking for peace, luxury, and a unique experience. Thank you for hosting us🌻❤️

Dan Waldron and I stayed at the Ox & Bow Aug 26. We LOVED everything! The hosts were friendly and helpful, giving us excellent tips about where to eat. The suite was spotless and had every amenity you could possibly want. There were many thoughtful touches from the robes hanging in the closet to slippers by the door. There were QR codes that linked appliances to videos showing how to use them. We would happily make a return visit and highly recommend the Ox & Bow.

Stayed here during our cross country road trip. Exactly the relaxation we needed. Seeing the pelicans was awesome! Host even accommodated some last minute scheduling changes for us. Can't reccomend staying here enough!

Awesome venue. Chris and Charis have been my hosts multiple times and been absolutely lovely to deal with. Nice and close to Portage without the hassle and traffic. And a great view of crescent lake :)
