Went today at around 3 pm. Was met with a very unprofessional lady on front desk i was a bit confused about something and she made me feel like im stupid asking... then she took me to the inside waiting room and asked if i need water or tea and when i asked for water she gave me a glass that is 1/4 filled and asked me to wait. Iam first time mother that i wanted to pamper myself so bad and i havent done for so long, it very hard to leave the baby too to be met with such an attitude. Might be treated this way bcz iam women of color.. ?! Such a bad experience for a mani and pedi that cost more than 200$! Everyone but that rude lady was nice and i enjoyed talking to them. I wouldnt do it again though she ruined my experience unfortunately Adding edit to reply : i think defensiveness its occurring in your comments to any negative comment ( you guys are never wrong god forbid lol!!) I was laying down my honest and transparent experience! But clearly you cant accept any criticism. To any new mama that would like to pamper herself, your time is more precious somewhere else. So many other luxurious options in town!

Booked last minute services for my mom and I and our requests were accommodated with next-day appointments! And the person helping us book our appointments found availability so my mom and I could have appointments at the same time which was great! My mom and I had never been to this spa and we will DEFINITELY be coming back. It is a very relaxing, professional and inviting space, the lounge is peaceful and the spa itself is clean and beautiful inside. However, I came here to write about Tressa, who completed my treatment. She was genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever met who really committed to creating a relaxing environment for me and made me feel extremely comfortable. She created one of the best spa experiences I have ever had. She deserves to be recognized for the work she is doing! Safe to say, my mom and I were very impressed!

I have been going to the Spa Magnolia for a few years now. I’ve had every service from pedicures to facials, hot stone relaxation massages to deep tissue. From the moment you walk in the door, the front staff are welcoming and the ambiance is lovely. Pair the amazing scent that they always have defusing with the lush robes and herbal tea in the lounge while you wait for your service provider and it’s just the best way to start your relaxation. I have had the best massages of my life here! Grace is my absolute favourite masseuse, but I’ve also had incredible massages from many of the other providers that were all exceptional. As a salon owner myself, I have recommended and will continue to recommend The Spa Magnolia to all of my clients. Every aspect of the visit is just so smooth and you leave feeling like a million bucks!!

This is a really lovely and serene spa situated in a charming hotel. I booked the two-hour long Nourish and Detoxify treatment and I was truly fortunate to get Grace to take me through the treatment. Himalayan salt was perfect temperature, scrub was pleasant, massage gentle and relaxing but thorough, facial made my face glow. Grace did an exceptional job and really got me to feel better after I’ve had a rough few days. It has been the best spa experience I have ever had, and I wish I lived close to Victoria just so I could come in regularly. All the stars for this place and for Grace.

I’ve had two massages and a facial at Spa Magnolia over the last few years. Gorgeous spa, friendly, skillful and very professional staff. Really like their product line especially Comfort Zone which is an Italian brand I’ve enjoyed for almost 15 years. It is a small boutique spa in a historic building so is very charming and they do make great use of the space, however the draw back to that is the sound really carries from the reception area into the treatment rooms.
