The Spot

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience is too exceptional not to share. We visited The Spot yesterday, expecting a decent sauna and cold water tub. However, it far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with stunning views of Paul Lake, incredibly friendly hosts, and outstanding service that included tea, ginger cookies, and mandarins. The facilities were impeccable, with a clean bathroom and a spacious lounge area complete with board games and a piano. The sauna itself was a modern gem, exuding a delightful pine aroma that enhanced the relaxation. The hosts also gave us the option to take a dip in the lake instead of the tub—a refreshingly invigorating experience, especially given the chilly temperature. For anyone seeking a peaceful escape with an authentic Finnish sauna experience in Interior BC, I wholeheartedly recommend The Spot.

I had a fabulous time visiting The Spot with my partner for the long weekend. We did a community sauna session, where we had the sauna to ourselves with the cold plunge and an amazing view of the frozen Paul lake! Prior to our visit, Natrisha sent us detailed directions as the Google maps link doesn’t get you quite all the way to the lodge but we were able to find it great with Natrishas help. Upon arrival we were shown the facilities, how to work everything and were given full privacy to enjoy our time. There were warmed robes, sauna hats and sitting towels available to us and we were even offered a selection of teas, cookies and chocolates with water available as well. We felt so comfortable and were given wonderful recommendations on other places to see while on our weekend in Kamloops! We will definitely be back, The Spot is a must visit!!

Went to The Spot with my husband and kids and we had such a great experience! The sauna was spacious, spotless, and so relaxing, and the cold plunge in the lake was incredible. At first my husband didn’t want to try the lake plunge, but after the first round he loved it! Natrisha was a wonderful host—so gracious and caring. We chose the package with snacks, which made the whole experience even more fun. The place is beautiful, clean, and the perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a sauna and cold plunge.

Visited the spot today with a friend. We got a warm welcome from the host that explained the ins and outs of the sauna. Sauna was nice and hot and we spiced it up with some water! Cold plunge was needed after. Host provided a light to see in the dark. Lake was cold and beautiful. After two sessions we enjoyed a nice shower in a very clean space. Overall fantastic experience and we were lucky to enjoy the sauna all by our selves.

This place is a total find! Natrisha and Kevin are fabulous hosts and so welcoming. The sauna was awesome, we were fortunate to have it to ourselves which was super relaxing, then across the track to the jetty to plunge in the lake … chilly but totally invigorating! Then for a second round. Just what we needed on our road trip. Don’t think about it just book it! Thankyou so much for having us 😊
