HONESTLY... please visit this place for yourself before you read any of the negative, nasty, complaining, never happy, annoying peoples REVIEWS. Some people are truly never satisfied, nor happy. There are some super picky, ungrateful people. So sad to be going through the negative reviews. What sad people their are on this earth. This was my second time visiting, I'm from the Midwest, United States. I wish we had this in the States! I absolutely love this place! 10/10! Traveled here by land, was 11 hour drive for us to come up, would do it all over again! And again! I've been here when it snowed, the first time, and the second time was a couple days ago with no snow, just freezing cold. First of all... forget the parking lot, your only their to park for a minute and be inside the next. Its not the whole point of the Thermea Spa. It WAS clean in the locker room and spa area! The staff was always kind. They are kind when your kind with them. Give respect because your a good person, not because you think some deserve it and others don't. Our waitress was not the most pleasant one and we still tipped her $20. Be kind! I also want to thank the staff for coming to my rescue very quickly when I started to feel dizzy and unwell after sauna and cold plunge. I laid down and lady staff with short blonde haircut quickly spotted i wasn't feeling well (i wish i remembered her name! Thank you!). They were on it really quickly with bringing me a juice box, putting towels under my legs, covering me with a warm blanket and talking to me until I felt well enough to get up. I deeply appreciate the love, the care you guys gave to me ❤️🔥❤️🩹 I will forever remember that. Will come here again when it snows. I love the vibe. Love the lights all around at night, the steam, the peaceful music, and actually was not bothered by chatter, laughter and the noise of people having a good time. I prefer hearing people having a good time rather than silence. All the amenities outside were perfect and the food deliscious. If I could give more stars I would. Love you guys! 🌟

Went to Thermea yesterday, Saturday with my partner for the evening time. Honestly, the whole experience has gone down hill and the price is getting more and more steep. This is my 4th visit over the years, use to be way better. When we first arrived 5 p.m. check in, went to the men’s locker room it was INSANELY busy, packed where we had to stand there for 10 minutes to get to our locker area where guys had to change in front of another, shoulder to shoulder, it’s worse then a gym’s locker room…they clearly need to expand the area for the volume of people. When we finally got to the pool areas it was pretty packed too but manageable. Other areas of the experience were packed and busy too but tapered off in the evening thankfully. We went to the restaurant for dinner the food and service was fantastic. We got a great view upstairs near the fireplace. Portions were huge too. Our server she was amazing. Me and my partner stayed till close we went through the whole experience which was nice but near the end of it, it turned upside down as I tried to order a beer just after 9 p.m. for the poolside at the bar they refused to serve me as it was apparently to late… to pour a beer lol. Then on top of that two staff members were rude to me, laughed at me, then walked me out of the bar to get me out of there. I went to customer service right after that as I was upset they listened, took my information, and the manager offered me 25% off my visit which was a nice gesture. However, the bar staff the way they treated me (the paying customer) is unacceptable and should be reviewed. We still had an okay experience… the resto, pools saved the review but Thermea definitely needs to improve in some areas.

I surprised my wife with a Christmas gift to Thermëa Spa Village, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I could have chosen. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how clean and well-maintained the entire facility was. We booked a five-hour stay along with an exfoliating scrub treatment, which was absolutely worth it — relaxing, rejuvenating, and the perfect addition to the thermal experience. The day we went it was -1°C, which honestly felt like the perfect temperature. There was frost clinging to the trees and a clear blue sky overhead, making the hot–cold cycles outdoors feel magical. The Nordic-style experience left us completely relaxed and refreshed. We also had lunch at the on-site restaurant and were blown away by the quality. The raclette board with farmer sausage was rich and comforting, and both the burger and the black garlic pasta with grilled chicken were excellent. I forget the name of our server but she was excellent and was able to help us decide between the adult lunchables and the raclette. For drinks, I had the peach cobbler old fashioned — almost as enjoyable to smell as it was to sip, especially sitting by the smoky fire features (I always judge a bar on how well they make an old fashioned) — and my wife had a gin smash that was well-balanced and refreshing. The only area that felt slightly crowded was the steam saunas, but even that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, this is a five-star facility and absolutely worth a visit. We left feeling completely reset and are already talking about going back.

I used to love going to Thermea and would do so every couple of months. The last time I went I found all areas of the spa to be extremely crowded, I mentioned this to someone at the front desk on the way out and they informed me that it was actually a slower than usual day (wow). My last visit was a few months ago and I am just reviewing now because I came to read reviews to see if others had experienced the same thing, I’d been considering giving it another shot next week!! I am bummed to see an overwhelming number of reviews outlining the exact same experience that I had. You guys, it’s simple, you can’t let that many people into the spa… especially at $100 each. The price has gone up from $67?-ish to $100 with a steady decrease in quality of experience. It’s really unfortunate because I used to really really appreciate this spot. I really want to go this week but am having a tough time doing so after seeing so many people have the same experience as me! A perfect example of a business trying to make as much money as possible no matter what!

We had SUCH a fun time for Valentine's day! It was busy but everyone was mostly respectful and kept the talking levels low. There were a few conversations here & there but everyone seemed so mindful. The amenities are really nice. Me and my husband LOVED the towel dance at the dry sauna. I've never seen something like that before and it was so awesome. The staff are really helpful and nice. They're refilling things and checking in the whole time. We're new to Winnipeg and I'm so happy to have thermea here! We're big fans of spas and Thermea is really good. My favorite was the eucalyptus steam room and the salt exfoliation room. Loved the eucalyptus smell & the essential oils in the salt. I also kind of love that you can order drinks and walk around with it. The drinks were really good as was our tartare. The servers were really nice & helpful as well & we didn't even have to wait to get a snack even though it was so busy. Overall, I'd say Thermea is really well managed and I'm SO coming back with my husband for cute spa dates 😁😁😁♨️♨️♨️
