Wellness Spa

This was my second visit to Wellness Spa. My first massage (45 mins) went well, so I decided to book a full hour this time. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t feel as smooth. I had a 3:15pm appointment and arrived 15 minutes early, but I wasn’t taken in until 6 minutes later. By the time I was on the table, it was 3:22pm. The massage ended at 4:16, which means I only received 54 minutes instead of the full 60. It may not seem like a lot, but when you're paying for an hour of relaxation, every minute really does count. It was especially frustrating since I arrived early and the delay wasn’t on my side. If the time was cut to keep the schedule on track for the next client, that shouldn’t come out of my session. Just like a business has policies in place to honor their time, I also value mine and don’t think clients should be shortchanged. I didn’t say anything at the time — partly because the massage therapist left the room quickly afterward before I realized that we ended early, and also because I tend to avoid confrontation in the moment.

I really enjoyed my experience here. You can tell that the staff really take their time to meet your needs, and ensure that you are happy with your treatment. It's located on the second floor of the Pickering rec centre, tucked away in the south east corner (near the upper gym). They use high quality products, and offer many different spa services. Staff are friendly. I recommend this place

The ONLY reason I went is because I had a gift certificate. Won't go back. My 45 minute massage lasted 30 minutes at best. I had a manicure and she cut 3 of my fingers. I had a pedicure and she cut 2 of my toes ....and the facial was very unpleasant and hurt. Not a very relaxing experience at all and the staff isn't very friendly.

This place is fantastic! A close friend of mine recommended it as he always goes when he pulls muscles in sports and I’m pleasantly surprised how much relief I felt after the massage. Definitely going to return here as I need treatment. Thanks, guys!

I come here for RMT massage. Very pleased with the service and quality of massages with Erica. So relaxing. Also very clean and safe with consistent Covid19 protocols. Will be keep coming back as a regular for sure. 5*
