Great service. Went in today for a couples massage. There was only one person doing the massage so we had to took turns which was fine with us as they had one person working. The lady was so kind and let us both in the room and gave me hot towels and let me relax while my partner was getting the massage. The place looks run down from the outside but inside it's really nice. Has a cute coffee shop, clothing store, school. We were very happy with our massage the atmosphere was so calming.
Went here to get waxed, and when I came in they had forgotten my appointment. The esthetician was giving the owner a pedicure, and told me I could go into the services room and she’d be “right in”. 45 minutes later, she came in to do my wax. It was also the only time in years of waxing that I’ve bruised after a wax. This is 100% the correct spa and the correct amount of time the esthetician was late, though it didn’t happen within the last five weeks.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. They went above and beyond for my anniversary - providing coffee, wine (non-alcoholic), and even a slice of delicious cake for me and my partner. The lounge/coffee area is warm and inviting, while the entire back salon is painted like you are in the clouds. The owner went out of her way to make our experience there quite pleasant.
Erika is a wonderful teacher and I am so happy to have completed the aesthetics program at A Spa For You. I fully recommend this program to anyone looking to become an aesthetician. Teachers are caring, patient, and very knowledgeable. They are focused on helping you reach your goals and be successful.
A friend surprised me with a mani/pedi/facial package while I’m visiting Thunder Bay. It was such a treat. The spa is in a building with loads of history and charm. The massage space is beautifully decorated and the service delightful. Next time, I’d love to try a body wrap!!

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
