My family and I went their solely to enjoy the pool and sauna. When we arrived we had to wait a half an hour before we could go swimming as the pool ratios were too high. The family pool area is warm and shallow with a lazy river. Below the surface of the lazy river the siding is rough and abbrasive. My 8 year old and I both got scratches and abbrassions from bumping into the siding. I'm not sure if the pool authorities will be resurfacing this or smoothing it over any time soon. The swim area is spacious and roomy. The hot tub is nice but I personally found it abit too hot for my liking. The family swim is from 1pm to 4pm. The regular swim is from 8am to 8pm. Overall, the staff and life guards are friendly and attentive to everyone. A pretty nice pool 👍

We have been bringing our child to swimming lessons here for two years, and he really enjoys it. The classes are great, and the water is always comfortable. However, as a parent, I feel disappointed that many people bringing their children do not change their shoes before entering the pool area. There are clear rules about this, and if someone doesn’t have indoor shoes, they should at least take their outdoor shoes off. It’s very unhygienic when dirt from outside is brought into the pool area where children are swimming. I also wonder why no one seems to be monitoring or enforcing this rule.

My partner and I enjoy golfing at the Juan de Fuca golf course. It is a Par3 9 hole well maintained course. Yardage of the holes ranges from 79 yards to 170 yards. There are 7 ponds throughout the course. You don't need a Tee off time, you can show up and get on the course quite quickly. Green fees are quite affordable.

The place is busy, plenty of activities to choose from, gym, pool, hockey, fitness classes, sauna, you name it. Front desk ladies are friendly and efficient , the place is clean and well managed Love it. Wife loves the change room showers, privacy! Tried many rec centers, Juan de Fuca is the best Thank you Gm

This place was incredibly holding for our family while living nomadically in the island. The library, the pool, the playgrounds, the nature spots, its all nearby, are really well kept and family friendly. Love the art show in the hallway that is constantly being rotated.
