A Post-Ski Sanctuary at Whistler Day Spa If you’ve spent the day charging down the slopes at Whistler, there is no better way to recover than a visit to Whistler Day Spa. My experience was top-tier from the moment I walked in. First impressions matter, and Emily at the front desk sets the tone perfectly. I was met with a bright smile and a friendly greeting that immediately made me feel at home. She made the check-in process effortless, which is exactly what you want when your legs are feeling like lead after a long week of skiing. I booked a 100 minute deep tissue session with Mel, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is an absolute pro. Mel really took the time to listen to my concerns and then proceeded to give me a phenomenal deep tissue massage. She found every single knot and worked all the specific spots where I needed the most help. I walked out feeling significantly more mobile, recovered and relaxed. One of the best perks of this spa is the access to the hot tub located just outside and the sauna. There is something incredibly therapeutic about soaking in the heat right after a massage, especially with the crisp mountain air around you. It was the perfect "cherry on top" to a restorative morning massage and just what I needed to get back on the skis tomorrow. Whether you are a local or just visiting for a ski trip, go see Emily and Mel. I definitely plan to visit again before my trip ends.
The facility itself is absolutely lovely, and the treatment room was beautiful and comfortable. My therapist was very attentive and provided a genuinely lovely treatment. The heated bed was a nice touch and added to the overall comfort. Unfortunately, there were a few disruptions that affected the experience. Around 10 minutes into my treatment, another guest accidentally entered the room — I understand this was a mistake, but it did interrupt the relaxation. The room was also quite cold, which meant my therapist’s hands were cold at times, despite the bed warmer being on. Toward the end of the treatment, there was also loud noise from a hair dryer being used for around 20 minutes, which took away from the otherwise calming atmosphere. Our experience with reception was also a little disappointing. When we first called to book, the phone was answered using a different name, which was confusing, and it wasn’t immediately clear we had reached Whisler Day Spa. When we arrived for our appointment, there was no one at reception initially, and later when I returned my locker key, I wasn’t acknowledged and there was no goodbye. Overall, the therapists and facilities are beautiful, but there are some customer service and operational details that could be improved to make the experience feel more seamless and welcoming.
I had the Alpine Escape Ritual massage and facial with Jennifer at Whistler Day Spa, and it was incredible! This was my first facial, and Jennifer made me feel so comfortable right away. She took the time to explain everything before starting and paid attention to every detail. Even noticing my dry feet and taking extra care to hydrate them. Her massage was pure magic, relaxing, the perfect pressure, and it felt like she knew exactly where all my tension was and just melted it away. The facial was just as amazing. She explained each step and what it would do for my skin, and the lymphatic part felt gentle and soothing. I asked for hydration and glow, and she absolutely delivered! My face felt refreshed and looked radiant afterward like my skin had a big glass of water. Even my husband noticed! Jennifer is truly gifted, kind, and professional. If you’re visiting Whistler Day Spa at the Pan Pacific, I can’t recommend her enough. I wish I could see her every month!
I had an amazing massage with Catalina! My wife also had a massage with Er Hsuan. I was told she was very relaxing, engaging, and made sure to get the firmness right for her. Catalina was pleasant as well and made sure not to miss any problem areas I was having. As she progressed the massage she was finding other areas that needed work and she spent time on them. Good personalities, very professional. We would come back again for sure!
The massage and facial from Austeja were…well I don’t have words for how good they were but I recommend 11/10! Austeja creates a relaxing and healing environment and was the perfect blend of warm and professional. Emily at the front did a superb job making me feel welcome as well. If you’re looking for maybe the best massage and facial you will ever get then look no further!
