Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex

The park and splash pad are very nice, some pieces of the park could use some tlc ( spinny things don't spin, missing zipline rope, etc). More seating would be nice, some benches or more picnic tables. Splash pad is fairly open all around so the wind is strong coming across making the splash pad less refreshing than it could be if a wind fence or even more bleachers by the baseball diamonds were present to break up the stronger gusts. Very nice park otherwise and on a very humid day we would make the trip again.
Enjoyed most of the play areas with my Grandson with the exception of the splash pad area for the kids is scraped concrete which is not kid friendly. Most splash areas I've ever been had the rubber matting which was kid friendly and no injuries from falling unlike the concrete pad.
My family and I, absolutely love this park we have spent endless hours either walking the trail or playing some softball or just letting the kids go wild in the huge sponge-ground play structures ! Highly recommend this park to all family's of different interests
Can't wait for the water park to be open. Unfortunately there were kids going around on bikes popping wheelies and stuff. Meaning I couldn't let me child run around until they left.
this park is amazing! so many things for the kids to do and water to cool off in while playing on the playground with a soft floor or playing sports
