Yellowknife River Territorial Park Day Use Area

I came on an aurora tour late at night on September 16, 2025. On the third night, I saw the aurora spreading across the entire sky. When it spreads across the entire sky, it's hard to know where to point the camera. I used a tripod and took beautiful photos in astronomical photography mode.

Great little place on the Yellowknife river. Popular boat launch and fishing spot. The local lakes are better fishing IMO. Lovely spot for a picnic.

Great facilities, nice little dock. First time I came across fire buckets for dosing your fire, super smart idea. Already planning next year's trip.

Nice spot for catching Aurora Borealis lights with beautiful background. We stayed from 12am to 2am and got very good experience.

Awesome spot to view The Aurora's during a clear night sky. It has a washroom at the location as well.
