Great program and it's free. The hike is short, but challenging enough to give you a sense of accomplishment. A golf cart is available for a fee with a driver to give you a ride if necessary. There's a sign in the parking lot by the church with a phone number to call and reserve a ride, if the golf cart is not there. The surrounding area is very pretty too, there are benches to rest or to have a picnic. A short walk over to the small lake on the other side and building rock formations just around the corner are fun added activities. The whole thing can be done in an hour if you are short on time, or spend half a day there just chilling.

Enormous Jesus statue that towers over the Tokaj landscapes. 8.5m tall and weighing over 50,000kg its truly a marvel. It can be seen from very far away, and provides serene beauty. The views from the top are majestic. There are some benches and quiet areas to sit and reflect, but not much shade to protect from sunburn. It's a great spot, and proof that the best spots are outside of cities

Stunning statue with stairs leading up to it. The hill is not very high and the climb is max 10 minutes, very easy, but it’s absolutely worth it for the view over Tarcal. There is a lavender field around the statue, must be stunning when the lavenders are blooming. There is a lake just behind and it’s possible to walk down to it (not allowed to swim there but I saw people fishing).

The surroundings of the statue are very well kept. The way up is a bit steep, but there are plenty of benches to take a rest on and the view is certainly rewarding. You can see both the village and the lake behind the hill. It provides a peaceful atmosphere for an early morning walk. The statue itself is currently the Hungary's tallest statue of the Christ.

Statue is very nice, area around is cared for and clean. 360 degrees view is amazing. Great for hiking. The path up very nice. Recommendations!
