Bath of Leányfalu

I recently visited the Leányfalu Thermal Bath, and it was a delightful experience! Nestled in a serene setting near Budapest, this thermal spa offers a perfect blend of relaxation and natural beauty. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a variety of pools at different temperatures, catering to both those seeking therapeutic benefits and those just wanting to unwind. The thermal water, rich in minerals, left my skin feeling rejuvenated, and the peaceful atmosphere was a welcome escape from city life.The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable visit. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor pools, surrounded by lush greenery, which created a calming ambiance. The sauna and wellness area were a highlight, offering a range of treatments that added to the overall experience. However, parking can be a bit limited during peak times, so arriving early is advisable.The on-site café provided decent food options, though a wider menu would be a nice addition. Overall, Leányfalu Thermal Bath is a fantastic spot for relaxation and wellness, perfect for a day trip. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to recharge.

Retro bath with modern elements The beach area is set in a beautiful green belt along the Danube, with shady ancient trees, large open green spaces and beautiful flower arrangements in flower boxes. The main building houses the beautifully renovated, modern changing rooms and bathrooms. However, the closets are quite small and I think they can be problematic to use in winter. The children's pool is currently being renovated. Parking is free in front of the building, although unfortunately not very large. There is another (much larger) car park about 6-8 minutes walk away on the Danube bank, under shady trees. Clean and tidy everywhere. Good value for money.

The main building looks stylish compared to other thermal baths. The water is strong and hot. They’re open all the time, so no surprises, unlike other countryside thermal baths I’ve visited that were closed at Christmas, even though many people spend the holidays alone and could use a place to relax. People are respectful and quiet, making it a great spot to unwind.

I love this place since my first time in the 80s as a toddler. It has the Hungarian Retro Vibe which is priceless. 2 twin hot thermal pools, one very hot extra hidden behind the twins,one cooler for youth,one lukewarm for babies and one long cold for sports. Great place with great food and park. Thanks for remaining the same for so long, dont change!

Popular local swimming pool with warm spring water. Lots of parking. Crowded. Very popular. No chlorine needed since it’s fresh water being pumped from the ground. A few cafes and eateries inside. Very popular with families who want a good day out in water with some swimming and food and some sun.
