Dunaföldvár Duna

We wanted to take an afternoon walk on the Danube bank to conclude our visit to Dunaföldvár. We set off on the beautifully designed promenade, but we quickly turned back and left in a hurry, because the smell of chemicals and stench was so unbearable that we didn't feel like staying there any longer. In one of the public buildings in the city, a member of staff talked about the stench, we didn't understand it then, but now we have experienced it. I'm sorry, because the rest of the city made a very positive impression on us.

It is almost a "mandatory" stop when traveling through Dunaföldvár, walking down Mély Street, between the rows of cellars, to the banks of the Danube.

We like to collect pebbles and shells here, and soak our feet in the summer.
