Fátyol

Beautiful and calm. You can get there by the little train departing from Fatelep station (bit expensive, 1000 ft for an adult for the 15 minutes ride) or by bike. The area has some information boards and a not so fancy playground alongside the tiny stream and the waterfalls. You can have a nice walk, or have a picnic in the grass or at the planty of wooden tables around.

This place is beautifull place. Suitable for people who really like nature and also we can do hiking here. There is no entrance ticket. It's free. If you dont want to walk, you can use train service. It's about 2000 forint (5 euro). There are also souvenirs seller there, you can buy something before leaving that place.

You really need to lower your expextations if you are planning to see this waterfall. In person, it is really not that big or steep, and all the tourists that gather there to take a picture can ruin your trip. I would recommend you rather check out the cave which is located higher in the trail.

From the car park it's a beautiful walk to get to Fátyol-vízesés and if you go further you can see the beautiful lake as well. Have to pay for the parking 400HUF/hour. This is located in Bükk National Park. Kid and dog friendly. Great day out with the family.

I went in a Saturday. Waited in line for 30 minutes to be able to get a seat on a mini train that took us to a very average waterfall. Wasted my time here. The walk back was quite okay. Seems to be a good thing to do for old people and families
