Füzes Camping

Not a particularly hospitable and welcoming place. We booked a holiday home. The house was clean and the beds were fine, but otherwise it was a 45-50 year old campsite and building reminiscent of the socialist era, which had not been touched since then, nor had its furnishings. Worn furniture, fallen tiles, there was only a double boiler and a refrigerator in the kitchen, no dishes, no cutlery, and what is now standard in all accommodation, soap, towels, internet - there was none. The biggest advantage is the location and that the beach entrance is included in the price. In addition, the uncultured, blaring and shouting groups staying in the nearby wooden houses also caused problems, and they only observed the house rules after being challenged by the guards.

Quiet large campsite, with lots of tent spaces, trees, especially at the front of the campsite, the best tent sites are there. Half price compared to other campsites. The atmosphere is good at the campsite on weekends, it's very quiet on weekdays. It's not a VIP 5*, the common areas or the holiday homes, but the price shows this. However, the beach is 1 minute away, and for 4350 at the Füzes restaurant at the entrance you can eat as much as you want. If you want to relax, it's highly recommended on weekdays, it's also a good starting point for bike tours. There is also a pile of built-in fire pits for boiling pot, with benches.

I spent four sensational days in the area, with meaningful programs and I really recommend it to anyone who likes activities near the water. I recommend the Füzes pension as accommodation. Minimal style is simple, clean and comfortable, absolutely perfect for relaxation. The staff is kind and helpful. The clean coast, the excellent beach, the harbor where you can rent a variety of boats and the restaurants with a high-quality selection are close by. "Budget-friendly vacation" It was not the first time and it will not be the last time I was here.

Toilets and showers in a terrible state and dirty, at 200m away the ones at the beach are so much bette. There are not enough electricity box close to plug to so in-between shadow and power, we chose shadow. There was absolutely no benefit in sleeping there compare to the night before at the beach carpark. It's must have been decades since they invested anything on this campsite and wondering how they are allowed to stay open.

Dia! This is for you! ❤️ When we arrived, we wanted to go further.. yes, those reviews are true that it is run down and retro, but it is clean and well kept. Dia, the manager of the campsite, came and explained everything, he was a great guy, if he hadn't come, we definitely wouldn't have stayed. He loves the Tisza tour and what he does with all his heart! He saved the campsite with his personality! ❤️ We can only thank him!
