Gloriett

This was our first time here, but it is simply one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to in Hungary. It is located between the Vatyol waterfall and the Sipovics lake. The clearing is surrounded by mountains and covered with beautiful green grass. One of the terminuses of the small railway is also here. There is a calming feeling to the place, at least it impressed me. We will definitely visit here again for a picnic or to relax.

This is the end of the light railway. The clearing is in a very beautiful environment. There are toilets, a playground for children, benches, places for roasting meat, etc. A good quality road leads from the meadow all the way down to the parking lot and you can take beautiful pictures of the landscape along the way. A fantastic place to go hiking.

We took the train ride up into the mountain. There were beautiful views and the fresh water stream running down from the hills was very nice!! We walked all the way back down along the path which run along the stream. Also lost of picnic spots too. Great family day out.

A beautifully maintained clearing where a truly beautiful view opens up before us. Benches, tables, children's toys and a stream that entices every child to play in it.

Getting off the little train, in the wonderful autumn sunshine, it was a truly relaxing and invigorating time to spend there. It's definitely worth the trip up.
