Gyógyvízű Strandfürdő

We went to the spa on Friday. It was very nice in the morning, there were hardly any. By the afternoon, the tanned people had gathered and after that all the pools were unenjoyable. We tried to cool off in the beach pool, but because of the shouting, swearing, and splashing, we moved to the retro thermal pool. There were no more crowds here, but in that pool there was shouting, splashing, jumping into the pool, playing ball, eating, and drinking, even though it is written on the board that you can't eat, jump, or bring toys into the pool, but these people probably can't read, so I don't blame them... it's not at all wrong that they didn't tan this summer, it's that they had absolutely no regard for anyone. The lifeguards just hang around, using a portable router with a cable on the table to get internet and using their smartphones (it's a good thing it wasn't a life-threatening situation, although they would have probably looked it up on YouTube about what to do in such a situation). They're around the swimming pool, and if they happen to head towards the thermal pool, they don't care who's doing what. The staff at the cash register and the cloakroom were very good, there were no problems with the buffet either, the prices are fair, and the service is good too. The entrance fee to the beach is well below the average price. The situation is definitely better on weekdays in the morning, but from the afternoon on, I don't really recommend it to anyone who wants to relax or cool off :(

I would call it an average beach, so to speak. Let's see what I liked and what I didn't like! Positives: the beach has a pleasant environment and a fairly large area. The offer consists of 5 pools, which is quite okay for a city of this size. The environment is basically well-maintained, at least in the most used areas. The retro and medicinal pools are particularly relaxing. The buffet on the beach does not have a wide range of options, but the menu is okay, the food is fresh (mostly typical beach food is available - a fried chicken breast menu, for example, 2590 HUF on 2023.07.23). The service is fast and friendly. What I didn't like less: the bottom of the swimming and beach pools is quite dirty. The water block next to the changing room could handle more frequent cleaning (tip: if you want to take a civilized shower, go to the shower at the campsite entrance! ) I had a small inconvenience in the buffet: the salad that came with the menu was bitter. It would be a good idea to pay attention to this so that nothing spoils the basically tasty menu. This beach is perfect for a one-day program, but it's not surprising why it doesn't have more traffic. And it has potential...

One star for the friendly staff, one star for the swimming facilities, and one star for the great fitness options. Unfortunately, the pools, and especially the tiles, are really dirty; the dirt is floating in the water. The food takes a very long time to arrive, and then it doesn't even taste good.

Very nice place, varied pool selection, however, there is a lot to improve on the cleanliness of the thermal pools. The 2900 HUF all-day ticket price is acceptable. The lawn is nice and big, with trees and shade. Overall, a nice beach.

I am very disappointed and angry! We paid 5300 HUF for an entrance ticket for 2 adults, but the pools are unusably dirty!! During a possible inspection, it would definitely not comply!!
