Gyopárosi Gyógy

If the roof is being built and the indoor pools are not usable, the minimum expectation would be that all the outdoor pools would operate without interruption, but unfortunately this was not the case, most of them were standing in the garden, uncleaned and disgusting. There was no problem with the 2 that were working, and with the 1 indoor one, or with the sauna section, except that the air in the steam cabin was very stale and musty (and there were quite a few guests), and the salt room was not much better, and in the aroma cabin, when you lay down on the upper bench, a strong smell of stale sweat emanated from the wooden structure.
2 boring pools at full price. You can hardly find the changing rooms, you can't even enter through the main entrance. Locks and cordons everywhere, all the bars are closed, the restaurant selection is poor, no wonder, because no one returns to such a spa for that much. You get bored of it all in about 1.5 hours. The security is also poor, because my sunglasses were stolen from a bench in seconds, while I wasn't looking.
Gyopárosfürdő has one of the largest and highest quality adventure-spa and park baths in the region, where bathers can relax with 8 outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, indoor and outdoor spa pools, a sauna park with 10 cabins and a gym. In addition, there is a restaurant and 6 different buffets in the spa area. If you are looking for relaxation, I can recommend it!
The wellness area, sauna sessions and outdoor thermal pool are the best value for money in the area. From November to March we come here almost every weekend from Szeged, because neither Szeged, Mórahalom nor Makó offer so many services for such a price. The staff is also impeccable.
It was enjoyable even in the late season, cloudy weather, and with partial services. The sauna world is impeccable, the staff is friendly and helpful. The general cleanliness was okay. It's a shame that many of the floor tiles are slippery.
Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
