It has a completely retro feel. We were "brave" after a rainy day, but the reward was very clear water and few guests. There is no entrance fee, the water is regularly checked by "Köjál", if it is gassy (like after weeks of 37+C) they will signal it and then there is indeed a bathing ban. There is no jet ski, but there are many naughty ducks. 😀 Fried meat + fried chips are under 3 e, coffee is 400-450. But you can find everything (beach stuff too) that you would find on a regular beach. The toilet and changing room are simple, but clean. I have been coming here for 40+ years, and I still "come in". I think it is a good choice.

It really gives off the feeling of the '80s and because of that I felt incredibly good, so it's a must-see program for the 40-something age group... Finally, there's no wifi and other nonsense, it was nice to see the family taking care of each other here. There's a parking lot, there's a restaurant for snobs who forget about themselves... The service of the small buffet is perfect... There's no need to improve it, retro has become fashionable anyway, but the 800 forint entrance fee is still thought-provoking...

Very pleasant, clean lake, with a sandy beach. Parking is free, there is plenty of space. The beach is less organized, the disadvantage of free entry is that people who are intoxicated can come in and sit down to drink beer with the kids. The toilets close at 6 pm, even though the beach is still full at that time. The buffets are good, there is also delicious coffee available with very friendly service.

Last year we had a great time here, cozy little beach, pleasant water, nicely kept environment. This year, from 2025, they will charge an entrance fee: 1000 HUF for Veresegyháza residents, 2000 HUF for foreigners. I understand that there is less and less money to maintain such places, but I wouldn't have taken my family there for ten thousand HUF even if it hadn't been closed.
